I hope we'll get to about 64 participants, that would be really nice. In the final two weeks before the tournament we're going to redouble our efforts in promoting it. Also: I've spoken to a program maker from the 'Soeterbeeckprogramma' (cultural institute) this morning, and they are considering to give some kind of lecture about e-sports and the NSSL in the week leading to the NSSL finals in June! I really hope that'll be possible | ||

Invitation aside, I encourage these kind of events to get more E-Sport activity in the Netherlands! Best of luck. /Edit: I see now that i'm not able to participate, however, I might be able to help you out with streaming. I've got a rig setup with Xsplit which is able to stream at full HD (1920x1080). | ||

As things stand now I don't think we'll need your rig for streaming at the finals, but if you're interested in casting some of the games from the group stages for upload to Youtube (or whatever), send me a PM! | ||

Any other awards that could motivate people to play epic games? I wouldn't want to encourage cheesing with a 'biggest cheese' award, but maybe something like 'Sickest play', or 'Sickest nerd' - although I don't really see how those can have anything even close to objective judging criteria. | ||

Awesome thing happened: yesterday RotterdaM plugged the NSSL during his cast of the Lone Star Clash. Pretty cool If I can find it on the VOD's I'll put it here as well. | ||

I walked around in a sponsored hoody from 'Pack for DreamHack' and got quite a few people asking me about it here @ Unversity of Edinburgh too. By the way: I hope we get to 64 participants, that way we have groups of at least four people in every group phase. We've got less than two weeks left for promo - so we're doing everything we can! | ||

There will be a second group phase with completely filled groups no matter what, but we are closing in on the 64-player-target! | ||
