the fact is mutas will always win vs pheonix if pheonix isnt stacked and mutas are, the concept of phoenix counter muta is flawed, because they dont have splash dmg, so muta stacking will always win vs phoenix bbecause they stack worse, why? Well if you have 15 mutas concetrated in 1 point only the outlying pheonixes will shoot and all mutas will shot at once 1 shotting 1 phoenix and doing dmg to 2nd. Also the fact is that muta can focus fire while pheonix not. Phoenix is only the support unit vs big muta balls. And zerg players who lose mutas to phoenix just doesnt know that you can nullify them with micro. Corruptors are useless as they are slow and can be outrun.
And frankly only 1 player in world does that and its dimaga which baffles me because hes doing it since more than 1 year... its nothing new yet i see players believe in phoenix > muta myth. Because they thing phoenix is the main dealer which is not because its storm/archon that prevents clumping or stalker/cannon because its the main dps. What im saying of course doesnt mean 5 mutas will win vs phoenix what i mean is stacking power of muta which increases dramatically.

I don't know about you, but I read those stats as ~70% win chance for DRG.
It's not like they indicated a 100% win, why are you surprised?

They are, he still won less then 50% Facts don't lie, does not mean he can't win vs Z though.

Sigh, conspiracies abound. For those not paying attention, DRG's not out of it yet. Nor it Genius confirmed to go through.

Are we just linking random youtube videos that sound somewhat the same?
Genius is a baller

Glad that I was right about that but disappointed DRG lost still, really want to see him go far in Code S. Want to see DRG, MMA, MKP, MC, and a few others in RO8 this season. ^_^ Who has the best ZvP exactly? Nestea DRG and Curious are the top three on TLPD. I have seen Leenock do some nice games vs P as well though.

I am a zerg player, but I agree completely. He really showed off a very solid build vs zerg that can transition into either an almost all-innish attack off 2 base, or light harass into relatively fast third. Simply outplayed DRG. Protoss have been whining their asses of for mutas and how 'weak' protoss air is for almost a year now. Genius is the only protoss I know who goes airplay and gets upgrades for his air units. Most of his air builds (excluding his carrier build ^_^) work wonders vs zerg.
Yeah. That's why. =.=
I'm not sold that archons wouldnt have been a better pick over the pheonix. (Storm even better, though not sure how the timings all work with that rather than using hte sg you already have).
Edit: I miss Coca. Coca had an absurd ZvP.

Glad to see a pro protoss using canons. Every tos on ladder (im diamond) just puts up canons like a terran would put up turrets and mutas are very hard to utilize. But for some reason pro protoss fail to put up canons even though they often have banked minerals.

0:00 DRG spawns Z10 Genius spawns P4
Genius FFE at the natural ramp DRG pool then hatch, takes 3rd 5:00Genius opts for stargate once again, and goes up to 6 gates once again More or less deja vu on DRG's side as well 10:00Genius takes 3rd as DRG plants down Spire DRG attacks past the lower bridge with roach ling but held off by Genius with very little losses, and another at the 3rd minutes later DRG has an impressive ball of mutas but Genius once again prepared in the main with cannons and stalkers and also phoenixes 15:00Genius continues to fend off roach ling muta attacks at his 3rd DRG loses a big ground army at the lower bridge to Genius' deathball
20:00 BASE TRADE! DRG manages to disable Genius' main and natural while he loses his bases Genius saves his 3rd from DRG's remaining mutaling army and DRG GG's after losing said army
MVPDongRaeGu 0-2 MVPGenius!

Nestea, Losira and Leenock all have far superior ZvPs.
EDIT: Coca as well.
