Let's have a nice clean LR thread folks! Beware that moderation will probably be stricter than usual, balance whine, player bashing and trolling will not be tolerated! |

Next time just invite more Koreans. Invite more Koreans to give up opportunity gaining popularity and commercial interest outside of Korea.... Just dress up Polt and TOP in American sport outfits and change their names to Joey "Polt" Anderson and Craig "TOP" Wilson. Say they were born to Korean-American parents. Do it, Mr. Chae.
Mr. Chae: "Sorry we have enough terrans already."

Game 1 -> IdrA: Nestea usually opens hatch first. OOPS he didn't. I guess I lose.
Game 2 -> Nestea: This is Grack. He doesn't cheese twice in a row. He will hatch first. I open speedling + baneling. He'll give up.
A better Zerg would've chosen strategies with better follow-ups should something go wrong.
I guess that's the difference behind the difference.
Pretty much.
LOL @ everyone who is hating/praising.

I am always astonished by the fact, that there are SO many really good people in this thread when it comes to SC2 strategy. It's not like Idra and Cella are actually doing this Starcraft 2 thing full time and people are still claiming that Idra played really bad. In the first game he wanted to punish Nestea for Hatch before pool, in the second game Nestea did the same thing to him and succeded.

Mathematically how do you not bet MVP/Nestea. @_@ Well, it's not just today, that's the problem :D lol cause liquibet doesn't have REAL money on the line. If this was Vegas with 1000s of dollars on the line, almost everyone will bet Nestea/MVP. It's easy to be biased when there's nothing on the line.
Right, but I don't even like IdrA

Idra must be focusing his attention on MVP. That would be the stupidest idea ever. I'd put IdrA's chance at beating MVP better than beating Nestea at ZvZ. You gotta consider both players and IdrA's ZvZ is just subpar imo. Idra's zvz is possibly his best, Nestea is just too good in this matchup IdrA's ZvT is his best. IdrA says so himself. IdrA also said he was going to destroy everyone in 2012.. ok?
these were the exact words from saivOr before he was smashed by the hammer of the gambling law.

MVP vs NESTEA MY BRAIN cant handle this!!!

He expands at the same time get queens quicker and has the same units and money as his opponent. It actually doens't make sense
I guess the difference between genius and foolishness is just getting result ....

Plsss Nestea do this. I want to see Idras world class ZvT against the best Terran in the world, plsssssssssssss

lol I can picture MVP/nestea's chat.
MVP: man easy 2-0 we so good
Nestea: yeah that was really easy i'll beat you and you beat whoever wins out of lucky/idra easy peasy
idk why I can just picture them both laughing at how easy they won

What are you talking about? Neither side made any major mistakes at all. Game one was a straight build order loss (14/14 should hold that build every time, hatch first or 9pool can't hold it at all). Game two was Idra again playing a really risky macro build and Nestea doing a counter build and not fucking up. thats what i thought. both games were BO loss for Idra, right?(not implying he couldnt hold them off or anything)
They weren't straight up BO losses, but Idra was in a bad situation in each build order.

I think he basically considered that first series a throw away, so he plays his match agaist Lucky, which he expects to win. He then is then basing an MvP win over Nestea, and has some special builds planned to dismantle NesTea in their second series, thus advancing 2-1.
I am very sure I am completely wrong, but hey a guy can hope right? And lets be honest, that play was not Idra. It was slow, sloppy, and bad decision making. This way he is banking on winning 2 ZvZ's over a match against MvP.
I guess we will see how he plays against lucky. If it is COMPLETELY a much higher level than those games, i think i might be right.
you blew my mind away...

Really strange for IdrA to pick Bel'shir Beach. I'd love to pick his brain on that one.

You can defend him all day long, but its just too greedy to open hatch first an a map with a huge ramp where the natural is also far away from the main. this isnt a NA Ladder game where the opoonent is easily outmicroed or outmacroed. its the GSL Code S aka. best Players in the World. so its simply bad play when you pick a strategy that has obviously hardcounters.

MVP vs Nestea!!! Oh yes!!!
Anyway idra to come last.

Whenever Idra plays it seems to make TL unreadable.
