Maybe I've just seen MKP slap him down 10 too many times. I'll admit that his play has been impressive in the last couple months but I was one of the doubters prior to it.

He was known for a number of incredible series, and had a reputation as an incredibly underrated player because he ALWAYS gets the toughest opponents, which made it hard for him to really make it deep, even if he was always a serious threat.

This is the GSL. Every opponent is tough. He had one tough Up/Down group with MKP and Nestea and ever since then everyone has been saying this crap about him being unlucky no matter who his opponent is. I don't buy it.

If he's in control of the game, then he looks like the most dominant player in the game but if he isn't, then you can see him playing sloppily (see MC vs Leenock in Blizz. cup, you can see him desperately rallying roaches while being 6/7-gated).

Sometimes he loses against opponents he shouldn't lose to though, remember when he was in up/downs early Code S last year and he lost to that terran LiveForever, who now is retired and in the army or something? He definitely has had bad luck, but consistency hasn't always been his forte. Let's hope he can work on that more this year.

Jjakji lost a tvt to a slayers terran, oh wow... he's still a beast. Slayers are strong when it comes to terrans.
