lol 1 match in a best of 3 can render and entire GSL Championship 'a fluke' ?

True, but he still hasn't proven much.

He's proven he can win a championship.

But I guess if you're saying "proven champion" like he can win again and again and again forever and ever I guess there are only 3 proven champions in sc2?

I'd say 4 proven.

Nestea, MC, MvP, MMA...PROVEN champions. And yes that is the definition i'm going by, guys that have shown that they can withstand the fuckton of pressure of multiple GSL runs to the Final and actually take em.

Multiple gsl runs to the final ? MC has gone to ONE finals

That's weird considering he's won two.

As I said fanboys and antifanboys blindly defending/attacking with incorrect facts or lack of facts.

Hey calm down a bit, i said I was sorry for the mistake, so the only antifanboy here is you saying Jjakji hasn't proved anything. In fact I like MC a lot and I think he's the best protoss in the world, so stfu

What the heck, first I am a fanboy of Sen, then I am fanboy of MC? Where are you guys pulling this out of the a-holes.

To be correct, I am also a fanboy like many here, but only of the 4 proven =D Whether they have fallen in or out of Code S/A, they are all proven to withstand the test of time.

Really...proven after one championship...

watch his play bro.

That makes him proven? Are you guys seriously fanboying this bad. Do you guys not what the fuck PROVEN means. WTF has he proven after his 1 fluke championship. You are really debating with me he has PROVEN something after winning 1 and 0 other have completed.

Uhhhhh...... Chill out bro

My bad, I was up in arms about blantant blind defense of a player due to fanboy-ism, without looking at hard facts, which there are none to go by since as I said before, he has yet to prove anything without a run in another season.

I understand. I also agree wih you. I also believe that u can get your point across without using caps and curse words.

Then will Jjakji be a fluke champion if he doesn't win this GSL? Because MVP fell to Code A, MC fell to Code B, Nestea hasn't seen a final in a long time and MMA only "proved" himself via blizzard cup.

So let's track back. This match does not reveal whether Jjakji is a fluke champion. Perhaps the next 4 GSL's will, even by your estimation.

Right, this alone can't confirm it was a fluke championship, but my opinion was that his 1st was, and my statement is that he is unproven, which is correct. Opinion =/= statement.

people might take your opinion more seriously if you dont frame it in a way that makes you look like a dick

How is your statement correct? I dont think your statement is correct. Many people think your statement is incorrect. Now what? Idk how going through an entire champsion, going through some of the best players in the world, winning the best tournament in the world makes him unproven.

Yeah, never really enjoy watching Ganzi, he's so scrappy most of the time.

Jjakji not scouting the hidden expansion really hurt him so far this game =(

Right so there's the point of contention, your 'statement of fact' is that he is unproven which is not fact because "unproven" is by your 'opinion'.

It is indeed your opinion that his first was, and thus your fact is based on opinion. My opinion is that Jjakji proved himself as a champion, not the number1playerinsc2 which I think you're confusing with 'champion'.

A statement is: "Jjakji is the GSL November 2011 champion".

Anyway, what champion can say they beat Ganzi all the time? I haven't met that champion yet.
