Stalkers and Immortals are too easy to mass (and much cheaper) so there is absolutely no reason to ever use ultras. The only purpose I can see for the ultralisk in ZvP is to break forcefields (if the protoss still have sentries late game)

It was a goofy idea for a special tournament anyway. If they had just made it a tournament for second place finishers then that would be fine, but any time you set out to prove something like this with a competition the result only achieves a short period of shit-disturbance. Nobody considered DRG anything like a kong and nobody will going forward.
