There's 48 slots in Code A, with 18 coming from U&D and 16 coming from Code S Ro32 so there's only 14 slots open from preliminaries this season.

Actually there is only 8 coming from Code S Ro32 since only the 4th place finishers goes down to Ro48. The third place players goes to Ro32 Code A. So there is 24 slots for winners in Code B.

48 - 18 (Code A) - 8 (Code S) = 22 open slots.

He was back in Peru for a bit, then he was supposed to be at Dreamhack Winter but he got pretty ill (there was talk of hospital?), not been much going on since I guess. Check South American qualifiers for IEM events etc and see since I'd guess he'll have played there if anywhere.

Artosis, TLO, Torch, Idra, Jinro, Sen, Haypro and Ret have all qualified through the code A qualifiers atleast once. However ALL of these were during the open seasons (last year) where the competition was arguably easier.
