Dear GOMTV.net users, the GSL format has been completely revamped for our 2012 series. It now runs for over 8 weeks and includes almost double the amount of possible sets. In line with this change, the Up&Down matches have been moved to the beginning of the season. Therefore GSL Season 1 will be beginning on December 19th with the Up&Down matches. These matches are not part of GSL November. We have however noticed that, while the information was available in our announcement forum, many users were unaware of this change and assumed that the Up&Down matches were a part of GSL November as has been the case for previous seasons. It was not our intention to mislead our users and we have therefore decided to give GSL November ticket holders access to the 2012 GSL Season 1 Up&Down matches. Because it isn't that interesting to watch roach hydra with some infestors for like 10 straight minutes. Roaches ruin ZvZ late game because they're too necessary, do too little damage to each other, and tank each other too well. There's a lack of "strategy" in ZvZ in general, whether you want to blame the players or not.

Oh my........ I cannot believe how terrible that last game was. I mean, how do you even "FORGET" 20 roaches in your base for more than 1-2 minutes. How is this even possible? I cannot fathom that. I am only a measly mid Master player on EU, and I have to admit I have sometimes forgotten I have stuff like 2-3 hellions or a banshee somewhere on the map, but forgetting 40 supply worth of units?? That's absolutely never happened to me, and I cannot believe it can happen to a pro player in a crucial up/down match.
I guess Losira played even more terribly in this case.. as he couldn't manage to beat someone who forgot half his army in his base and only fought with the other half :D

and if Zenio loses but Virus beats Polt, Zenio is tied with Losira and Virus but advances with wins over both

It's impossible to have a 4-way 2-2 tie. Zenio and Inca are both 2-1. One has to go 3-1 and get out of the group.
