Group A - ThorZaIN, Nerchio - Socke has a chance to "upset" but I doubt it
Group B - MarineKing, Violet - The obvious two favourites, but HasuObs can take games off of anyone
Group C - DIMAGA, KawaiiRice - Dimaga should advance very easily, then it's all up for grabs.
Group D - MC, WhiteRa - I think this one comes down to how well Cloud plays
Group E - JYP, DarkForce - Bling has gotten a lot of hype from his WCG run, but his tournaments following that have not been as good as DarkForce
Group F - Hero, Naama - Just like Bling, Haypro gets a lot of hype from beating Nestea. IMO, these are the best players in that group though.
Group G - Stephano, Sound - Nightend might advance over Sound, but I'll always bet on the Korean
Group H - Ret, Grubby - Pretty simple group

would predict the same altough i would pick Bling over darkforce

I know I know and I'm not an expert on the exact intricacies of each map variant but if ESL Antiga doesn't have forced cross enabled then... sad times.

Im sure nobody will ever agree with this, but I think forced cross is BETTER for terran vs Zerg on Antiga....

It feels pretty equal but it seems that this ESL version has the gold minerals (on all the maps), so if it's cross position forced i think it's defenitely terran favored in TvZ. At least MKP will be happy )

I'd go one step further and say Antiga is like 90% win for Terran in the late game regardless of position o,o~
On another note I love my group ! glgl

Group 1
1. ThorZaiN
2. Socke

3. Nerchio
4. iNcontroL
I think Thorzain will go 3-0 in this group and im pretty sure that Socke beats Nerchio. Nerchio seems in a bit of a slump lately and Socke is always very strong when it matters - especially offline. I dont see iNcontroL winning a bo3, but im still happy he is part of the tournament.

Group 2
1. MarineKing
2. HasuObs

3. vi0Let
4. MoMaN
The only thing i can say with confidence is MoMaN as 4th (no offense, i like you^^). MKP is kind of shaky sometimes, HasuObs is very strong PvT, violet can beat both as well, but lose to both either. I just hope Hasu gets 2nd place cuz im a huge fanboy of him, but everything is possible here i feel^^

Group 3
1. Dimaga
2. KawaiiRice

3. ReaL
4. Adelscott
This group looks easier to predict than it is - Dimaga is very, very unstable vs Protoss, KawaiiRice and ReaL are hugely underrated, Adelscott has... strange games lately. Incredibly hard to predict anything here, but i go with my feeling and fanboyism mainly here.

Group 4
1. MC
2. White-Ra

3. ClouD
4. AureS
MC is a top protoss player (again?) and the obivous favorite here. White-Ra shows great performance lately as well, ClouD isnt too confident against Protoss and therefore i give him rank 3. I dont see AureS with chances here, i see him more as a last minute invite who should be proud to get invited.

Group 5
1. JYP
2. DarKFoRcE

3. BlinG
4. DarkHydra
JYP goes 3-0 here, although DF and BlinG are underrated and can be very dangerous. Will be very close for 2nd place between DF and BlinG, I dont see chances for DarkHydra, but for a young guy like him it should be a great experience anyway.

Group 6
1. HerO
2. HayprO

3. Attero
4. Naama
Rank 1 is obvious here as well, but behind that, anything could happen as i see all 3 of them equally strong. I somewhat think Attero and HayprO both have their better matchups vs T, therefore, i go with them over Naama. But i seriously guess here.

Group 7
1. Stephano
2. Sound

3. NightEnD
4. Delphi (?)
Stephano should take it over Sound, as he performed well in the Qualifiers, but playing offline in a european tournament is a differnet story for an unexperienced player like him. NightEnD over Delphi as i see him as the stronger player, he could even upset Sound.

Group 8
1. Grubby
2. Ret

3. GoOdy
4. Destiny
I think Grubby beats GoOdy, Grubby vs Ret will decide who wins. If Grubby performces as he did in some games vs Stephano i saw, i see him as the small favorite, although it would be an upset for most people. GoOdy over Destiny, but overall, every game in this group should be pretty close and even GoOdy and Destiny have chances to advance. I'm quite excited for this group!

Nerchio has a negative record against Socke and looked really shaky against White-Ra yesterday :/. If someone is favored in this group it is ThorZain. Group A and B are probably the most exciting with one weaker player and three guys, who could probably win the whole thing.

Otherwise, I agree with your predictions.

I think the tournament is friendly enough, so they can make switches about when groups are played. I am 99.(9)% sure this won't be a problem, probably your group will be switched for the next day, or something.

lucky KawaiiRice to switch groups. But I'd rather switch the whole groups instead of of a single player. seems more fair imo
