Same drill as usual: - No caster bashing.
- Excessive tournament bashing that detracts from game discussion will be met with moderator action. Criticism is welcome, whining is not.
- In general do your best to stay on topic and discuss what we're all here for: the games.
Enjoy the games guys. |

something along the lines of "I used to have a ibuypower computer until I wanted to get something much better" he basically said if you want a good computer don't buy from them.. and he didn't even realize it.

3 years is a long time for a laptop man especially if it remains relevant to what your needs are and it works well

Too many chairs!!!! Love it hahahaha. I just tweeted idra to start streaming and see if he can take over all the NASL viewers. He must need something to do for the next few hours before his matches start

Guys, I just found out why there's no people. There must have been an outbreak of Seatophobia due to unknown reasons. "Seatophobia: The irrational fear of chairs. Victims often report having dreams when a gang of chairs tie them to a bed and poke them with red-hot pokers. Another common symptom is continually looking around to observe whether a chair has moved, when in the same room as one. Victims are also incapable of sitting on chairs or any form of comfortable seat, preferring instead nails and hot coals; many famous fakirs who claim to be immune to pain suffer from this phobia." Or everyone who originally bought a ticket are fakirs, though that would be silly...

There are reasons why MLG and other leagues do not have enough chairs. They don't want a empty seat to be viewable. IPL was empty as well. I also blame parts of it on the oversaturation of tournaments in this area though. People will probably be going mainly for one day since there are 3 events in the same area. It's not like Columbus or providence where it's one event and people will book the whole weekend off from work and get a hotel. Yes. The reason why nobody showed up is due to the fact they have too many chairs.
It's not that but if you rent say an arena and only sell floor seats + a couple rows of arena seats. It WILL look like its a huge waste and noone is there when infact you've got more people there than a couple mlgs combined.
|
Is it just the camera or is there approximately 5 people at the event? That is weird I think. NASL needs to try and be like IPL - no subscription fees and a smaller season But regardless I am enjoying these games - even in 360p

He didn't, but the TL forum dramafactory is fired up and ready for a long night of overtime!

Now I'm sad not having supported NASL this season Their production and the red carpet intros are deserving more love imo, I hope there will be more tomorrow.

Haha...that was the ballsiest probe I've seen in a while.

I'm on the same spot ): . I just watched like 5 or 6 days of the open season. I literally watched ALL days in the first season if I was home in the night.

I mean, I sort of (but not completely) understand that it was almost deserted earlier in the day, but this is getting ridiculous. Is there something wrong with NASL's prices or marketing (for live spectators)? I mean, even if people don't care about the NASL season, this is a pretty big event with pretty good players and a very good price pool.
I just can't understand it. I remember it being somewhat low on attendees on friday the last time as well, but I'm sure there were more than this. Location?
As much as people make fun of NASL (and for good reason) it wouldn't justify them going from an amazing crowd in NASL 1 to 10 people in NASL 2. If you read Fxoboss's tumbler he said that the community for SC2 plateaued a little while ago... There's still a lot of fans but more centralized to watching only a few organization such as MLG, GSL, and IPL pretty much stole NASL's thunder ever since they had the competitive edge of koreans + free 1080p.
TLDR; not enough growth in SC2 anymore to be able to still get 120k viewers and packed live events with a half assed product.

Well he could of worded it better, because the way it sounded was that ibuypower isn't good and he wanted something better.
