Same drill as usual: - No caster bashing.
- Excessive tournament bashing that detracts from game discussion will be met with moderator action. Criticism is welcome, whining is not.
- In general do your best to stay on topic and discuss what we're all here for: the games.
Enjoy the games guys. |

Hasu had his 3rd up earlier and lost it because he attacked and HuK did defend very well ...~~

GG nevertheless. huk made the same mistake .... He made LESS mistakes overall compared to Hasu. Hasu had a significant lead. What did HuK do? keep Hasu in his base with nice stalker control, picked units left and right (colossus) with his stalkers and literally came back to the game. Most of the engagements HuK was way behind unit wise compared to Hasu, yet Hasu managed to lose everyone of them but the last one. Are you fucking kidding me? Making 20 less probes is not a small mistake, its a MASSIVE one. It didn't matter in the end, it was all about the macro.
Making 20 less probes is a decision, not a mistake, it may or it may not pan out, in this case it didn't.

That's very close to full saturation on 2 base and for the most part neither player was mining minerals from more than 2 bases, so yer, 20 probes didn't really do *that* much(except win the fight at the end! )

Pretty sure Huk cut at 32-34 initially which pretty much pins you to gateway play off 2base

This debate is always pointless so let's not even start it. The guy that wins it is the guy that played better today, that's what people should be saying anyhow.

Using all those probes served as a way to split Huk's ground army between his zealot/stalkers and Colossus/Archon. It allowed Hasu to kill Huk's zealot/stalkers while retaining the bulk of his army. After that the combined army took care of Huk.

Can I get a situation report? What's the score?

Better does not mean more succesful. And in PvP he seems to be better.

Hasu should have long distance mined, when he was on won base with 45 probes.

In all honesty HuK should have pulled some damn probes but hey what can you do when your opponent is an all-iner like that. What the fuck? Is taking the first expansion in a PvP an all-in?!
Cutting probes at 30 on 2 bases, not teching and making a crapton of units is pretty all-in ish. You know, when huk had 6 gates, blink stalkers and a crapton of zealots in hasu's nat.

If Huk loses this.... Euro PvP 4-0 Huk in last 4 matchups according to the preview article. lol

Not sure how I feel about the spotlight on the stage. Not being able to see the crowd is kind of a downer but it sort of looks like the casters are ascending to godhood or something which is cool.
