Same drill as usual:
  • No caster bashing.
  • Excessive tournament bashing that detracts from game discussion will be met with moderator action. Criticism is welcome, whining is not.
  • In general do your best to stay on topic and discuss what we're all here for: the games.
Enjoy the games guys.

Dat mirrormatchup, PvP in its finest.
20 minutes into the game:
2 base, 0/0/0 upgrades, under 100 supply, below 50 Probes, 3 types of units in mass.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sigh, Hasu didn't really deserve to win that game to be honest. GG nevertheless.

huk made the same mistake ....

He made LESS mistakes overall compared to Hasu. Hasu had a significant lead. What did HuK do? keep Hasu in his base with nice stalker control, picked units left and right (colossus) with his stalkers and literally came back to the game.

Most of the engagements HuK was way behind unit wise compared to Hasu, yet Hasu managed to lose everyone of them but the last one.

Are you fucking kidding me? Making 20 less probes is not a small mistake, its a MASSIVE one. It didn't matter in the end, it was all about the macro.

Sure. He had more expos earlier and did a mistake with attacking and threw away the advantage he had. Then nearly died and later used his superior probe count (which he couldn't use for mining anymore) to attack. That was just smart and the logical choice. You mad my friend? You don't know shit it seems, sad.

He's a troll I think all his previous posts were very similair. I suppose there's a call for banhammers.

This is crazy. PvP used to be so boring. Almost unwatchable, but this amazing games!

Just a testament to how much viewing experience gets when the matchup gets more figured out. I think. Might be shitty conclusion or just a fluke with good PvP-games latley.

And Huk actually had the better opening

That was a terrible pvp, I'm not sure what people are talking about. Hasuobs makes probes, Huk doesnt. Huk has better micro, Hasu obs has better macro. Macro wins.

Actually after the big fight at HuK's natural Hasu was floating like 1.8k, 1k so in conclusion i would say bith played shitty lol

So Hasu plays better then HuK and gets a advantage. Then he screws up and loses it, and then he allins and win.

I don't see how this would make Hasu a worse player then HuK, he didn't start out with the advantage did he?

There were a couple attempts at 3rds! But ya that summarizes PvP quite well.

I mean the attack was all-in. But it was what any good player would do, obviously, he wasn't planning to do an all in timing attack. He saw an opportunity and took it.

lolol Huk had a faster expo and was safe the whole time, he just cut probes to 2base all in again so even when Hasu offered the game up on a plate he didn't have the economy to make shit happen in time.

I'd bet everything i have that if huk pulled back his whole army, pulled all the probes off his nexus, and was far mining from his 3rd so that hasuobs had to attack him in a defensive position, (and when hasu attacked huk ALL his probes), he would have won hands down.

Hasu didn't play better, HuK just did some stupid 2 base all in play where he cut probes while hasu made them. It wasn't that hasuobs played better, huk was just stupid. I'm more or less annoyed that huk, who's playing clearly better, keeps doing the stupid 2 base all in that's causing his losses. (both losses were 2 base all in).

Ok ok, people, protip: Don't try to argue that Hasu is better. He is not. This is from a non US and non European perspective. This series may go either way and Hasu is a very good player, but HuK has too much under his belt for you to say that Hasu is a better Starcraft II player.
