The GSL schedule is too packed for qualifiers to make sense - most of the players that are sponsored are tied up in Code A/S. Which leaves invitations for now.

such a big event without updated results or any kind of some explanation... i can't belive it.. can someone please update it because I don't know how some players didn't make it to top32. Who won against haypro? I don't understand this system. I wasn't online last few days so I don't know anything about this. I'm counting last 16 player in that unfinished bracket but most of them aren't in final top32
some update and explanation? please, this is not some small tournament

I'm trying to keep the OP clean as possible, that's why the very first stage of the qualifiers is missing: the national qualifiers. From those qualifiers the very best get into stage 3 rightaway, the others are split up into stage 2 and 1. The last qualifier has the top 16 from stage 2 and the top 16 from the national qualifiers.
HayprO lost twice in stage 2, the bracket is linked in the OP. It is not unfinished btw, the top 16 advanced. No need to keep playing after WB round 4/LB round 5.

"because I don't know how some players didn't make it to top32. Who won against haypro?" ??? there is a link to the brackets in the OP (stage 2)
"I don't understand this system" Everything is explained or explains itself.
"I'm counting last 16 player in that unfinished bracket" its the stage 2 bracket. guess where you can find them? maybe in stage 3? 3 comes after 2 you know!
please dont blame the tournament for your own mistakes :/

it is explained, it is updated?
ok, look at this:
http://www.esl.eu/eu/sc2/masters/stage_2/rankings/
http://www.esl.eu/eu/sc2/masters/stage_1/rankings/
maybe I'm stupid so tell me, where I can find in this links anything?
Explanation of those two links? Neither in those two links, neither in OP, neither at liquipedia. So, this aren't my mistakes, there aren't any valid info about such a big tournament and it is a shame.
EDIT:
Shawngood - thank you for normal answer. I would get everything if I was here when tournament was going but it is impossible to get all of that if you look at links only.

According to the ESL-page a guy named "Znow" is participating in stage 3 (European Qualifiers) but he did´nt qualify. Does someone know, who he is and why he got an invitation?
|
He won the Swedish national qualifier. That's why he received a slot in the stage 3 qualifier (like Socke for winning the German EPS, Tefel who won the Polish EPS etc.).
He is a Terran player from Sweden.

Thank you, if he won the swedish qualifier I have no doubt, that he is worthy, to be invited, so many good players are from sweden.

Since the OP isn't updated, the last 2 SEA players to compete in the final qualifier are EnDerr and KingMafia.
Meaning one of mOOnGLaDe, yangr, iaguz, PiG, Sutgun, Pokerface, EnDerr or KingMafia will qualify for Kiev. Probably Moonglade, again.

Thank you for the headsup. OP is updated again. Looking forward to tomorrow's final qualifier in SEA!

Looks like all 7 Euro's are coming from the qualifier on Sunday, according to the OP

Looking at the player list for the european qualifier we might just get 7 protosses to Kiev xD How exactly do you get the 7 players when it's a roX format?

The last 7 players alive in the tournament.

No, sorry. I don't think we ever did something like that, though.
As for the top 7 from the stage 3 EU qualifier:
The two players in WB round 5 and the two players in LB round 7 will be the EU top seeds for Kiev (each of them in his own group). The two losers of LB 6 get slots #5 and #6 and the last slot is determined by a match for 7th place (between the two losers of LB 5).
