Thank you for bringing this tournament to my pc screen .
I admit I wasnt a huge fan of IPL in the beginning (your scheduling was originally non sensical), but over last few months you have really done a fantastic job. Love fight club, how you reacted to the Phillipine IPL qualiifer problems, the daily high quality content and am sure same for Team Arena.
I pay to watch GSL, NASL and MLG and considering how much of your stuff is free to watch and comparable or better than your competitors I can only salute your efforts for eSports and look forward to watching alot more.
ps good pick up with DOA. Consider Apollo he rocks

I will quote this post when we prove you wrong. An you will have the right to do so sir And I will take the flogging in stride as it would mean I was wrong though thats only if it happens SlayerS Mouse Liquid, and even Complexity a bit seem just far too strong of teams for the others to contend with though that is only my opinion weather orn ot it's fact will be proven in the coming matchs Actually take Dignitas out of that might get raped hard category I forgot they had SeleCT and Sjow which makes me rather disappointed in myself seeing as how SeleCT is one of my favorites to play SC2 lol xDD
Still, Dignitas are against the strongest team there initially. I wouldn't consider them a weak team at all, but they're still heavy underdogs against SlayerS. Of course, it's double elimination, so that's not the end.
I wouldn't say "even Complexity" given that it's CoL.MvP. If there's significant MvP involvement, they're an incredibly strong team.

is it just quantic or just IM now?
EDIT: never mind read above me :D

Answered earlier, they'll continue to work together to fulfill their prior obligations. Not sure how much IM players will actually play, but it's still QIM for this.
Edit: Damn, you corrected yourself

Slayers playing Dignitas right now. Slayers up 2-0 with SlayerCrank taking 2 games. 3rd game coming up.
|
I like Liquid's chances with the addition of Zenio to the team. The heavy Zerg composition is worrysome though.
|
Lucky Liquid, they are going to STOMP Quantic now without IM. 5-0 or 5-1 pretty easily.

wrong. They will participate for this season at the very least.

wtf dignitas, what a let down. why dont you even try? way to piss off your fans and all the neutral viewers.

What's up with all these teams forfeiting games? This is the second (at least) time that I've seen that happen, yet they're not taking it seriously. Put SeleCT or SjoW out there--they might not have the best chance to be honest, but you're playing for $10,000 dollars. That should take precedent over whatever they might be doing. I want to see the best players (well maybe not the best Koreans because that would be brutal), but we're not even seeing the top foreigners playing. Oh well, Bischu's PvP build was fun to watch at least (though had Crank just sent the Probe into his base he could have scouted and beaten it...)
|
I've been facepalming so much during the whole series that I'm actually somewhat happy that they forfeited.
The irony is that these guys that Slayers sent out are completely mediocre even by foreigner standards and don't do anything that any player on Dignitas roster can't do just as well. But they take it fucking seriously and they prepare if they're scheduled to play for they team.
Whereas Dignitas players and many others that have been sent out against Slayers in the IPL team events seem to be taking it like its a ladder game or something.
Very disappointing attitude. If you're not going to take the competition seriously and have your players actually prepare for it, don't join the tournament.
|
Is there a bracket up in Liquipedia?
|
So only 2 games and they forfeited ? Damn shame guys. So unprofessional.
|
This is all good and all, but history shows that teams mostly send forth their b-teamers (even foreigner teams) to the Team Arena. I guess a bigger pot might make some of the teams take it a little more serious (plus cross-continental lag is a big disincentive too).
