The difference in belshir was leenock crushing the hellion's and taking map control, expanding twice and shutting down the 2 medivacs that did damage for MVP in other games. He was able to take a 3rd because he was doing a lot of damage the whole time. It was a safe 3rd because with all those dead hatches and harass going on you couldnt effectively overwhelm one of the 2 points of attack.

yeah, leenock was far ahead in that game, 3 full mediavecs sniped, 4 bases vs 2 base, MVP had almost no mules because of scans... the depos was just a small part, and leenock had banelings with the zerglings, those depos even up, would not last long... even the banelings in the ramp were amazing... game 5 was heavy one-sided

Leenock will have to continue to perform the way he is for another month of so before he gets the nod from me. No doubt he's a sick talent and probably is playing better than most right now. You can can't go from an average code s player to the outright best in the world in two weeks, you just can't. Actually, I retract that. If he can come out in the Blizzard cup and continue to dominate the best in the world, then I'll consider him the best.

I mean he lots around 24 marines and 3 medivacs for free + didn't kill enough lings with the hellions... but yea. Once the depots went down it was more 5/95 But I guess it's reflexes for a player to just hit the hotkey for raise / drop when a run-by occurs. Poor MVP (( he's such a gentleman. But maybe it's time he shares some of the prize money with other talented players ![]() Did you not see those bains, leenock was going to bust down the wall anyway. All him lowering the wall did was mean that he lost by 100+ instead of the 70 supply he was going to lose by if the wall had stayed up.

I guess but if he wins GSL November at an age of 16 that is pretty sick.Leenock has improved so much ever since his 6pool against Nada where ppl just flame him as a cheeser.Time has changed for the better for leenock and he is still so young.

But Game 1/2 showed that MVP is a much better player IMO. Game 3 = Really clever but everyone gets caught by something that they almost never see. Good job by leenock choosing that. Game 4 = Amazing hold by MVP. Really really really showed how far ahead of other players he is. Game 5 = Well...MVP just never did damage. And because of the nature of the matchup if you cannot deal damage to the zerg and he's able to just defend until he's got full saturation then the game is over just due to their race mechanics. So it really wasn't a display of intense skill more than being denied something and the game taking over. Leenock did well though, but MVP let that game be dictated by leenock. I'm hoping in HOTS and the expansion after we can get up to a point where you are never required to play a certain way in order to balance out another races mechanics. GG leenock, did good and happy for you. MVP you let me down! But honestly I feel you're still the vastly superior player.
