I LOVE both tournaments and what they do for the scene, but DH was setting a new standart the last 3 days. Next time you will have more renowned participants, im pretty sure of that.
I doubt US or any other region can challenge DH on that front, maybe Korea (I don't know about their infrastructure). Basically whole of Scandinavia made of optic fibers, internet quality and speed is something you take for granted there.
Uhh no, that's just twitch.tv at work. NASL has the same quality that DH provides. The problem is while the resolution is GREAT it often stutters with high traffic around.
Korea has some of the worse streams I've seen using their domestic technologies. GSL has the lowest HQ resolution I've seen and OSL still broadcasts in 4:3 ratio...
BW is 4:3 ratio, how can you broadcast it wide screen?

Man up. Those guys know each other really well and as a British person, you should know that taking the piss is a sign of friendship.

Ret vs ToD only afaik.
They also did Ret vs. Nerchio but only the second set as there was some confusion on who was casting. I took some pictures of them casting in this thread (direkt link).

Did you miss that Apollo pretty much started it when he and TB casted? They did it in a nice and jokingly way anyway, so I don't see that anybody would have hurt feelings.
Just watched the finals. Amazing games but even more amazing than that was the crowd and the new arena. That has to be some sort of record I think lol :D

Nothing personal dude, so don't take any offense.. but it's somewhat hillarious that you got it wrong on every ONE, except Ret haha... No doubt, that must be a record bad championship tree tip

I didn't really understand all the "WTF music? so awkward" comments in this thread from people watching the stream when Hero won, but after watching it on VOD I understand what all that was about lol. The music in the stream was really loud compared to the audience etc and also extremely aweful tuned. For us who was at the arena it wasn't nearly as awkward as the crowd cheered so loudly, altho I must say it wasn't very epic music.
Here's a video of how it looked like from an audience perspective:

puma should have waited for 3/3 before engaging at HerOs 3rd. oh boy, i was shocked he engaged while 3/3 was so close to finish :< put it was a awesome final, HerO did a great job! Congratz!
Sorry if other people have asked, but does anyone have any information on replays? I think Dreamhack has released a replay pack for every SCII event they've had, just wondering if there was any news on it.
