By the way i cant help but feel the majority of the Streetfighter detractors would be the "vocal minority". Most of the people seem to be either just watching it and trying to get some enjoyment out of another gaming skillset, or just not watching it and doing something else rather then commenting.

"And now he's going..." "Oh! The stalkers!" "Oh, look at that!" "Oh no!" "GG!" Yea man, cause SF matches last easily 10 minutes at a time. If you explained every single punch, you'd be commentating 5 minutes after the fight ended. Also majority of fighting game casting is just bringing hype, once you're hype, you just cheer for anything, even if you got no clue whats going on. If you actually listened to a in-depth cast of a fighting game, you'd think they were speaking a different language with all the fighting game slang.

I think all the frustration comes from being surprised by this game randomly showing up. I turned in today hoping to watch the semis and then the finals. After a single semi match, now there is SSF4. I did not plan to watch SSF4. It always seems like they trap us into watching games that we have no interest in watching. I have nothing against the game, but I do not want to watch it. There shouldn't be anything wrong with that..

They're trying to explain it for the layman and the concepts they need to explain are way too lengthy for the time allowed, it's pretty much impossible for them to do it right, plus they're not even consistant commentators they sometimes do it at a local weekly tournament in london it's not like they're some tastosis equivalent.
