Forum Index > StarCraft 2 Tournaments |
Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly: - NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever. Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment.

I wanted to watch Wheat + Husky cast, but I also kind of want the stream with the better crowd mic because it's a bit lame to hear it 100ft and several walls away TT

In the GSL, both players have time to prepare so it pretty much evens out. I think MLG is more difficult just because of the number of quality players you have to go through in order to make it to the championship bracket, while in the GSL, there often seems to be "weaker" code S players that you need to go through first. Yup, they are totally different tournaments. The mental fatigue must be hard. Sure, you get a second shot and you might have to deal with extended series in some cases. MLG is a grind especially if you aren't seeded. Funny thing is a lot of guys actually win without a seed. =D

Going back to the original question, the most gentle way to put it for me would either be plump or round (although round could describe a lot of other things). When has calling someone fat not been considered an insult?

Seems like a pretty good advantage to me. what does the fact that leenock happened to come through the open bracket while naniwa was seeded because of his success throughout the season have to to with the way the final will be played?

I always liked zvz and pvp over tvt. tvt is just a slower, lamer version of zvz.

The awkward foreigner Protoss who no one likes, but who represents the last foreigner hope, and who has done more for the competitive level of the foreigner's scene than any other player this MLG (except for maybe the Banjo), and who intends to show his anti-fans just what he is capable of ... ... Against the 16 year old Korean Zerg prodigy on the run of his life, who has overcome the entire open bracket, against stiff opposition, to make it here, in the grand finals. The next generation of Korean SC 2, poised to show the foreigner world that they are not prepared ... Both have such stories behind them, that either one would have been sufficient for another tournament. But here they are, both gathered in Providence, to meet their fate. Whose story will have a happier ending? Lol speak for yourself I like nani and I am sure many others do. Although I do want Leenock to win because I don't really care much about the korean vs the world stuff and leenock has been playing like a beast this MLG

Maybe for the broodwar pros and the SC2 superstars, but I'm sure it matters for both Naniwa and Leenock (specially Leenock, who is still in school and plays part-time).
