Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:

- NO Balance Whine.
- NO Player Bashing.
- NO Caster Bashing.
- NO BM whatsoever.

Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment.

Idra didn't bother to play.

Ungrateful brat -.-

.... cry some more.

He never played those consolation matches. Most people dont play them @ mlg.

For 750$? I highly doubt it.

He has enough and if you know IdrA you would know he doesn't give a rats ass about the consolation.

Wasn't there money on the line?

Only 750 more and like I said earlier he doesn't need the money and he only cares about winning.

The difference between 1 spot means very little to him.

$750 is more money than he's won at most MLG events this season.

And it's irrelevant because players like him and huk make most of their money off their contracts.

It is getting paid $750 to win 2 games. There really is no excuse to not play that - I don't care who you are. No pro player is at the point where they should turn that down.

DRG is doing it! He's throwing games for his country!!!!

You know I was hoping that DRG would intentionally lose for Leenock since LN isn't down against NaNi already.

He still has to win 2 Bo3s to Naniwa's 1 Bo3 so it's not like Leenock is much better off. The difference isn't that big.

I dunno if Naniwa wins 2 games at all in 4 against DRG he wins. Against Leenock he actually needs to win the majority of games in one of 2 BO3s.

It's a difference of roughly one possible game, not enough for anyone to consider throwing a series and 10,000 for their country and I doubt DRG would throw it anyways. That's more a response to the earlier poster.

Oh okay then sorry for misunderstanding. Also ridiculous to throw away a series to try and make your teammate lose.

I don't think DRG would do something like that anyways, I think he's just slightly off his game after the losses against Naniwa.

Hm. Progamers do need to do one more thing to really boost eSports. Whether you're shy, or antisocial, or just a boss, take a note from NASCAR - get your sponsor's name(s) into the conversation every possible way every time. That's what they are really giving you the money for. Other than that, I love the trash talk (genteel as it is), the drama, and even the stoic.

Also, Naniwa will win... because he's just ballertoss.

So, will there be a "Best Signs of the Stream" thread? Some of them are bad, but some (like Kerrigan look alike contest) are pretty funny.

Please don't do this. It gets annoying really fast. It's ok to plug your sponsors but when interviews become an excuse for advertisments 90% of viewers will tune out.

I agree. It's annoying for the viewers. But it increases the business reasons for sponsors to actually give money to teams, players, and tournaments. Which helps improve the production values, prize pools, and ability for pros to focus on just the game. There's a balance to be maintained, but I just notice that progamers hardly ever work the sponsor names into any interviews. I mean, just a "Thank you for our sponsors (insert names)" would be good towards the end. And wouldn't kill eSports.

Their attempts with Xperia Play just come across as uncomfortable and stupid every time.

Husky's xperia play plug was fucking HILARIOUS!

Missed that one , where can I see it?

Dude I missed it too I only saw the NOS drink one. Any link or info would be appreciated.

You can rewind your MLG player. Go to 5:51:15 on the Red Stream to see the start of it.

Thank you very much

dude i used to HATE husky but he TOTALLY won me over today. he actually analyzes the play, and states shit about small micro that makes a huge difference (like MVP targeting MC's stalkers when he was attacking the bunker) that any other casters NEVER talk about.

I said to myself when I saw that happen "wow MVP actually targeted the low stalker there!" and all other times the casters wouldn't have mentioned it.

I don't see how 4 banelings for 3 drones is an 'ok' trade. Those 4 banelings could have been 2 drones and some minerals and gas.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I kinda hope he does it.

doesnt matter... there will be still played 2 best of 3 cause of loserbracket vs winnerbracket. both will play the same games agains nani.. why dont people know the rules?

what? that's not how extended series work

it is ... im right .. read the rules... the final will be i favor of nani cause he didnt lose this mlg so he has 2 chances. extended series isnt in finals, but its basicly the same with the loserbracketwinner behind 2 games.

There should be a difference though. Correct me if I'm wrong, but with an extended series naniwa simply would have to win 2 games overall, but if leenock needs to win two Bo3's that means that he can still afford to lose two games depending which bo3's they're playing right?

Genius by Leenock to immediately pull back and expand.
