MLG Providence Day 3 Live Report Thread - Page 495
Forum Index > StarCraft 2 Tournaments |
Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly: - NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever. Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment.

If you could, please point out which games you weren't keen on from this weekend. Leenock has had one of the toughest paths and he won most in convincing fashion. If you haven't noticed I've been posting consistently in the MLG LR threads the whole time. You on the other hand, I don't recall so much. So thanks but I think I'll stay.

He only knows about the euro scene since he works there. You should at least know about the top players in the world. Of which Leenock is one of them. Even if you haven't seen him play you should at least be able to talk about his reputation (dude is Code S Top 8). It's the job of the caster.

One is perfectly possible, one is mentally exhausting. You can only maintain your concentration for so long, which is what makes the open bracket such a challenge.

What I meant to say is that his play that series was garbage due to fatigue accumulated throughout the day, and especially because he didn't receive enough time to recollect himself after playing MC. Anyone who's had to play at a LAN a whole day knows what I'm talking about. Not to take anything away from Leenock, especially loved his decision-making first map - he was way behind so he went for an "all-or-nothing" rush to T3. Didn't ever imagine that MVP would see the Muta count remaining so low for a lot of time and not suspect anything, but... oh well.

Not bashing them, its just spreading the balance whine that overall is only true at GSL. one can't play T without Z or P bashing you because apparently we are all playing at GSL Terran has been in the top 4 forever though. Oh check it MVP top four ![]() The same cannot be said for either of the two races. Just to be fair and put some perspective into what they mean when they say P and Z players are happy that T is out of tourney. It means we can see ZvZ or PvZ and not TvX

Then they still meet in the LB finals. If leenock is to win he has to win a ZvZ extended series vs. DRG.
