Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:
- NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever.
Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment. |

No, MC is just up due to extended series

MC and DRG are both in Code A atm, but have a chance to get back in to Code S through Code A and the U&D.

Leenock is now 24-3 in this tournament, beating, among others, Drewbie, Oz, Gatored, Haypro, Boxer, Slush, MMA, Idra and Huk. Such a great run. 0_0.
|
MC and DRG are BOTH IN CODE A RIGHT NOW.
|
DRG isn't in Code S, Code A atm. But I think he still has a chance to get Code S back. Same for MC.

He's guarenteed top3 by being in winner's final and I can't see any non-Code S left besides him...

Considering 4 of the Top 8 here are foreigners, I don't think being a foreigner = being mediocre any more..
|
I can't believe these results omg, well I'm rooting for MC.

naniwa.....
Ewww
Yeah, why can't we just vote on who should advance? Why do we have to have a tournament based on individual skill? MLG should learn from great events like American Idol or Survivor. I'm sick of people winning because of their own merit.

That is insane. And he isn't even done yet. No surprises here. Leenock is a machine. He's been smashing nerds for months.
Also, kids his age don't get jetlag, so there's that.

MC and DRG aren't guaranteed to get Code S next season. (Although both still have a chance to--either in Code A or up & down)

Mvp.. do this for the people.. do this for the terrans. WIN THIS

Please.. everyone is boring if thats the case. I don't think they're saying Koreans are boring, I think they're saying Korean domination is boring because they follow the western scene more, and the rest of the tournament is not exciting for them since they can't root for players they like. Don't the gameplay create exciting stuff? What do the players background have anything to do with the gameplay. In essence, people watch for the best games. I don't think you understand sports at all.
I don't think you understand sports. I think you understand "fans" I like sports. I like esports. I am a fan of the gameplay. I am a fan of the GAME.

More fun to watch if you care about who wins. Like many, I don't care who wins if it's only koreans vs koreans. Same as I don't watch the world cup after England are out despite the fact that I like football. This. I like to watch great games but I like watching my favourite player win even more.
ummm...i get that you cheer more when your favorite plays..but if you arent watching world cup after quarterfinals penalty shoootout where england loses :D , you arent much of a football fan to me

That is insane. And he isn't even done yet. The only impressive opponents were MMA & Oz (and maybe Huk but Huk already lost to him in GSL), rest are foreigners and BoxeR is 30 years old. Leenock is amazing tho, beating MMA is no easy feat Drewbie has been playing really well, and even 2-1'd Stephano recently. Gatored has beaten DRG, TOP, and GanZi recently. Oz is amazing and is Ro8 Code S. State always has impressive runs HayprO beat NesTea and took MVP to an insanely close series BoxeR is the Emperor Slush is another consistent MLG player. MMA is defending GSL Champion IdrA, while not playing well against Leenock showed really strong ZvZ against NesTea. HuK got unlucky and had to start the series on one of the worst PvZ maps in the game.

is that Huk in the audience on mlg red?

cmon Mvp you got this comeback!
