I don't think that someone signing up when they aren't good makes them a terrible person or anything like that, so lets not blow what I'm about to say out of proportion, but I really feel that it is just a waste of peoples time when people, who have no chance of getting far whatsoever, sign up. It means less practice time on the computers for pros, more admins to be hired, less interesting games to watch early on, and the tournament starts off slower. Yes MLG could also fix some of the problems, but simply looking at the player perspective, it just really seems like they are taking advantage of MLG wanting to allow all kinds of talent to enter, by simply entering for fun. Again, it is honestly not a big deal so I don't want to get in an argument about it, but I would personally feel guilty entering an MLG when I have absolutely no chance of making it out of the open bracket. I guess other people don't, and some will disagree so that is fine. | ||
