No player/caster bashing, or balance whining. Bans will be handed out like candy. (page 217) No sexist jokes or anything of that nature either. Be mature people.

Stephano beats a bunch of code B/A Koreans and people were hyping him as the best zerg in the world. Naniwa beats the 2 most successful players in SC2 history and people just quickly move to discredit him. Do you people understand the gravity of what just happened here? I think most of us are happy a foreigner won, but the games weren't all that impressive

Yeah pretty much. GSL is 'the big one'. To be honest what we need is for a foreigner to win MLG and then NOT lose in their first round GSL match, which has been happening altogether too often. Makes it look like the win doesn't mean much. Obviously a foreign GSL win would help a lot.

It's because MVP and NesTea didn't look at their best, at least that's the rationale people here are using. Imo it doesn't matter, he beat the 2 best players in the game in a row. No matter if they were playing below their usual level, it's a huge achievement considering how far ahead of everyone these 2 usually are. It's certainly better than anything Stephano has accomplished.

Ummm no. You don't see ESPN cancelling the airing of PSU Football games which is where this scandal stems from. They aired a frat at PSU that is not involved in any of the drama getting their house hooked up. That frat has probably raised over a million dollars for child cancer patients through THON you know.

Maybe if it wasn't a special event we'd put more into that win but well it's only a special event which directly proceeds the MLG Nationals so people wouldn't be pulling out all the stops with MLG Nationals literally right after it.
