You know something is wrong when you take out 2 bases, and the Zerg can still make an army better than yours.

I wonder how close-to-code-A level korean players feel about seeded foreigners. It must be somewhat frustrating to climb the Qualifiers Mountain, almost make it, and witness Code A "invites" being convincingly defeated over and over.

I wonder the same thing about MLG open qualifier players.

Get over it. It's a deal between MLG and GOMTV, and most people seem to think the Korean players benefit more from it than foreigners.

Still considered sort of a manner thing to do. Same as in some sports the teams shake/slap hands after the game is over, whether they got raped or not.

i've been saying this forever, i'm okay with it if they show results but this is just making me cringe because they'll get invited again next season for this to happen and disappoint everyone.
Bro, the conditions for GSL are: live, playing in Korea, with the whole world watching you. Not easy at all. Intense pressure.

Opponents: top 1% of Korean gamers who train non-stop in team houses.

Brutal. It is incredible that Huk can continually beat Koreans up in the GSL - real credit to his skill and dedication. I wouldn't blame any Foreigner for stuffing it up.

To be fair even huk dosent go far in the GSL, most of the times he gets past group stages or just stayed in code S by winning 1 game. But isent naniwa training in the MVP house?
Huk's made Ro8 twice ?(not sure, just had a hunch). And Huk has beaten Code S/A's pros aplenty. Probably the best foreign player atm. (I'd like to see Sen v Huk ^^)

Naniwa somehow moved out of the MVP house for whatever reason. His training also seemed to have not "paid off" as many of his stream viewers have noted

Think he said on his stream that he was moving back to MVP-house this week, if I have not got something terribly wrong.

Oh lord, a player known for being emotional didn't gg after a game! His career in korea is over, no way the GSL will take him back!

It's not that big a deal, no one will remember by next week, stop acting like he punched Boxer and called Nada ugly.

Once reached Ro8, but he still have never done anything particular. He reminds me alot of how nada use to do in code S. consistantly stay in code S but never really get close to the top

Lol. says a lot about your character.

No it says nothing about my character. It's like when you open a door for someone and they say thank you... it's ok you don't need to say you're welcome.
Nice analogy. I guess you're right - sometimes people just don't type GG, not because they are bitter/angry/BM, but just incidentally doesn't type gg.

Zerg had 5 bases for a sufficiently long amount of time and was banking lots of resources.

Im still at a loss to how nani shouldve won game 1 :/ He couldnt afford voids imo, he blocked the banes pretty good and won that battle convincingly. Then Zerg just sends a million units into your natural and kills it and the game is over >.<

I know this is slightly unrelated but when is up and downs? That is when foreigners have a real chance, though I thought nani could take his games today.

Well to be fair, do you know how hard Naniwa has trained for this?
I mean in Game 1 he had almost won and just got rofl stomped by some imba BL.

I mean give credit to lucky, but Naniwa lost 1000 of hours of Real Life and has gotten nothing for it...

yeah cause naniwa is someone who mass laddered in korea for 2 months and keep getting invited over and over again still losing in the first round and huk is the one who stayd in a teamhouse with coaches and good players to discuss and train with.

i guess your ignorance is over 9000

For the guy asking why nani made colo against muta you need 1 or 2 or 3 to deal with the mass lings that come with mutas as well as to handle the remax ground units.

Such a waste of time for foreigners to train so hard only to be knocked out after a single Bo3. IMO MLG just get rid of the code A invites and instead give the highest placing foreigner a direct spot into code S.

Anyways go Nada!

lol seriously?

If foreigners can't even handle Code A, what makes you think seeding them into Code S against far superior opponents would produce a better result?
