Ya I'm starting to get pretty happy with the players who are interested. $300 is not a bad prize for 1st place, and we're paying out all the way to 8th place, along with goodies.

I definitely recommend letting your friends know, and getting more people in here. They really have a shot, and it will go a long way toward continuing to show the magnitude of eSports presence here in Cali.

Ya I was the organizer of BarCraft Irvine - which had a showing of over 400 people. We had a mini tournament after the Saturday one, ended up being I think a 12 person bracket - and it was a TON of fun! So we wanted to expand it.

I'm a longtime plat player (yay? maybe?), but possibly on the verge of being bumped into diamond. If I sign up now for the noob division, would I be allowed play there, or would i get stuck getting my ass kicked in the uppper div?
