I posted in the PhilippinePROstarcraftleague's facebook page. It's okay, I didn't post in the IPL page, since I figured you guys weren't organizing this directly. It's just pretty frustrating to not know what's going on or how I can even get tickets (even after I asked at the ticket counter!) and seeing that even some of the organizers on location don't know what's happening.

People seem to take flawless HD streams for granted. Try following the broodwar scene over the past number of years then start whining about resolution and video quality.

I certainly agree that IGN/IPL cannot directly be blamed for the stream quality as they are only sponsoring the event, but its not surprising that they recieve a lot of criticism here because their name is on it. Personally I expect an event that is sponsored by IGN to be run smoothly. Furthermore, what was the standard in the Broodwar scene is irrelevant. I expect that with experience from the past, current events be run far more smoothly. With all that said, i'm sure that the people at the event are working really hard to get everything running smoothly but nonetheless whats happened tonight can be fairly criticized.
