Although I understand complications can arise at a live event like this, I prefer there to be some notification of what is going on when they are 30 minutes or more past the starting time.

This is ridiculous. It's more than 2 hours late now. I went in line for a VIP pass but was told they don't sell them for today anymore and they were only by reservation. I asked if I could still get a reservation for a VIP pass for tomorrow, and the person at the ticket counter said she didn't know. Huh?? +_+ Then I asked if I could get a regular pass anyway (a non-VIP one), and she said they're still not giving them away at the time. WTF, that was already at 11:40am... 1 hour and 40 minutes after the event was supposed to start, and they're still not letting people in? I don't know what the hell is happening here anymore. I was excited to see all the players at first, but now I'm just pissed.

Right now I'm just chilling out in a net cafe nearby cause I came here alone and it's been two and a half hours and I don't know what else to do anymore while waiting. =/

I'm sure the folks at the event are working hard to get things right, but, its really frustrating as a viewer to have to wait through this.

It is a problem on their end, that has delayed the event for almost 2 hours.

Edit: And is going to be delayed for 30 more minutes. Heh I was hoping to be able to watch some matches, but I have classes tomorrow.

i think your complaints would have more impact elsewhere (not sure where). i'd be upset if i were you too.

well, on the positive side, I don't think group play is that important. Most players with a fan base here should advance without a problem.

I just hope they resolve the issue by the beginning of round of 16... at least 720p please

Durrr, why can't they just run the stream before the event started to warm up and check everything? Now they wait until the last minute and just screwed up everything.

I imagine they probably did something like that. What I wonder, and its not exclusive to this event by any means, is just why these problems arise in the first place. I have no experience with streaming live events over the internet to thousands of people of course, but I just don't understand why there are so many problems so frequently. You would figure these issues would be solved by now. I really hope they get this event rolling soon but regardless, i'm disappointed with what they have presented so far, especially for a big time event complete with high profile casters and players alike.
