Honestly, the contrast between ESWC and Blizzcon this weekend, and IPL and MLG Orlando in the previous weekends, is pretty sharp.
For me, watching SC 2 tournaments just isn't the same since IPL and MLG Orlando showed what was possible with their bar-raising performances.
I had a subscription for Orlando so when the games were over on red/blue I could fall back on white/black and cancel downtime completely, but if I had stuck to free streams only the amount of crowd-shot-time would have been unbearable, like it was in Raleigh. Downtime is what makes people go away. Only the most dedicated ones will stick around through ~20 minutes of nothingness to see another match.
That's a good point. I had a subscription at Orlando too, and I think that's what made it such a great tournament. But still, even with a subscription you wouldn't be able to see more games at Blizzcon.

This is what happens when they stream an event that's intended to be seen live. We wouldn't be bored if we could walk around and see booths/demonstrations.

wow, you rly want to see... eerrrm, NOT see Nestea and MVP?
i'd honestly rather watch dimaga/select or sen/naniwa than either of the nestea/mvp games. it's the same way i'd rather watch pacquiao/mayweather than pacquiao/klitschko

We'll see two MVP vs. NesTea matches - the Winner's Bracket finals and then the Grand Finals.

just like we were sure about LAN.
And that they would cut down on destructible rocks...

And you should see at least 4 games featuring one of them. Both games when they play each other, 1 of the winners bracket semis, and the losers bracket finals
I can't seem to watch the stream.... it says: Metadata Server Error, please try again. I have reloaded the page a number of times and the help section doesnt seem to have any explanation for it. Does somoene knows what it means?

its NOT a tourney. or rather, the SC2 tourney is just one attraction featured at Blizzcon. this is a convention intended to hype all Blizzard products, not an all-day SC2 extravaganza.
