No, extended series takes the place of double elim in the finals, it's the one place where it makes sense(argument about whether it's better to give the WB winner more of an advantage or not, either way, in a double elim tourney most would agree they earned that advantage unlike the loser bracket vs loser bracket games).

I feel like HuK is stronger at P v P at the moment, and with him having a lead already, I think he can take it.

I'm happy with either to win it, although since MC already has his Code S spot, it would be nice for a foreigner.

I have no doubt STC would make it out of the qualifiers with his talent after coming back from the army, I'm glad MC was able to instantly be back in code S, we desperately needed more Protoss hopes.

I never imagined the day would come when I would say this, but I honestly prefer the day9+husky combo to tastosis now. Husky has improved a lot! And day9 is day9 of course.

This and... anyone who knows a bit about the PvP matchup understands how deep and fucking awesome it really is. It's different from the other matchups but is in no way more of a coin flip than the other MUs.

It is a lot deeper now, but HuK and MC seem to still be stuck on pre-1.4 PvP. They like 4 gating and doing other various 1 base play.

btw @ all people that don't like the PvP finals.

PvP has shifted away from 4-gating, we might see a random 4gate 1game, but it will be most likely be all sorts of builds being thrown at eachother now.
The matchup is sort of fun too watch now.
