HuK really proving that he is the best foreigner and MC is back where he belongs. 2 foreigners in top 4 and a PvP finals.

Amazing event.

So the next MLG is championship MLG? whats that about and who are seeded? Is Incontrol going to be seeded? Not to smack down on him but he so do not deserv to be up there. He got a 4th spot in a non korean MLG due to good group and strange game vs TLO. And since he has gone like 0-5 in every MLG getting knocked out direct in the playoff. Has he even won more then 2-3 games in total in each MLG?

Its just weird how you can free ride so long on one lucky performance.

Maybe they invite the first 24 spots of the this championship to the next championship season, and guess who already is in the MLG top 24 ranking. ^^

I think more players like him should be in the groups. Why? That's similar to soccer, where you get Lichtenstein, Luxemburg or Andorra in your group. Every nation is super happy if they get Lichtenstein in their qualification group.

Lichtenstein could also say: no we don't wanna participate in the next championship. They dont give up, they also enjoy being broadcasted. But it's fun watching them play, even if they lose 0:6 to the Netherlands for example. And later you can interview Lichtenstein and the team answers: "We lost pretty close. We have a new training camp, where we will practice much, much harder, .... Expect us!"

Rofl. I like the image of Incontrol as Lichtenstein. There is a major flaw in your argument though. When Lichtenstein is signed up, it's for qualification, not tournament pools. They won't get a direct ticket to the championship playoffs when there are tons of stronger teams below just because they performed surprisingly well in a previous playoff.

The system is flawed, but there is no doubt in my mind that MLG will have the insight to improve/change it for next season .

Again, amazing tournament.

I think you can draw some better parallells with the Olympics.

I was more impressed with IdrA beating Bomber 2-1. Bombers macro was insane, and he still managed to come out ontop. Anyway...

Congrats to HuK ^_^

Hulk 2-1 StC was quite impressive as well, given that he'd just slayed Bomber in the game before. I guess the top terrans will have to practice their TvP a bit more it seems :p

Well done Boxer for not giving up until losing to Idra, he didnt even thought of giving out even if he had to win Idra 4 games in a row, which is quite impossible. Defeating Sase Stephano otw too!

Idra deserves the credit too for not losing his cool against Boxer and managing to make it to 4th and gg'ing each game.

STC and MKP was amazing, topping their group from the open brackets and Polt got out from the loser's bracket to 2-0'd lots of people eventually losing to PuMa.

Huk and Mc too! Though i dont really like MC for his arrogance(?).

Was really looking forward to Idra winning MKP(then topping his group) and playing against HuK/ Idra vs HuK in the finals. Such an exciting event! Its like the dream match-ups happening!

imo the best series was idra vs boxer when boxer starts getting back into the game, and idra vs bomber. One of the last foreigner's hope vs the previous champ! I didnt realise bomber was so good untill now

I love how idra deserves credit for gg'ing each game, just shows how far he's come. lol

Foreigner 3peat. EG wins 2 of the 3. Foreigners taking out Koreans en masse.

I hope this puts to bed all the people complaining MLG is boring now that the Koreans have come and win everything.

Foreigner Protoss's are much superior to their Korean counterparts also.

I'll be honest, I didn't watch much of Raleigh. I kept an eye on it, but it seemed like it'd turn out to be another Korean dominant win. Boring for me, quite honestly. I started off not watching the friday at all of Orlando, checked up on groups and such and suddenly got a lot, LOT more interested as Koreans weren't just rolling everyone. This MLG saved MLG for me, as I'll now definitely watch the following ones.

They just need to stop using extended series and everything will be good. Code S is motivation for all of them, much bigger than money prizes.

MLG just needs to make the Grand Finals a Bo7.

It's been an anticlimatic Grand Finals in every MLG thus far.

Sure there were some exciting games, but the shortness of the series makes the whole thing feel like MLG is just trying to hurry the players along so they can pack up and go home.

Fun fact: the winner of the upper bracket has always won the MLG without exception. That's why I went to bed after Huk-TheSTC.

Not quite. Naniwa won Dallas remember? But yeah, every one after the GSL exchange has been like that.

So far this season all 5 events have been won by the guy who won the winner's bracket. Naniwa won the winner's bracket (how could he not? He didn't throw a map untill the grand finals)

MLG finals are generally pretty meh. I guess everyone are fine with that though, since the matches prior to that are usually the most exciting you can find anywhere
