These people give back to the community, a lot of these players were around when TL was a relatively small, tight-knit community and these players have given a ton to E-sports. I hope some of our favourites flat out refuse to stream, or do interviews, or coach until this trend of player bashing (which is getting far far worse) is knocked on the head. There is nothing wrong with opinions on a player's ability, there is nothing wrong with saying 'X outclassed X'. There is nothing wrong with 'oh that was a terrible engagement, wtf' but it's the neverended torrent of HERP DERP WHY IS INCONTROL IN POOLS etc that is beyond the pale. It ruins any cohesive ACTUAL reporting of the games in question when every second post is about one player. Fuck off. | ||

God damn. Their system sucks but noone PUT them into pool play. It's basically just coincidence/luck/being just good enough/having teams that send them to every event. So many dumb people. | ||

MLG Pool Play rules have "Winner > Points" rule. For example, the 1st place have score of 4-1 with 8-1 (total win/loss) and the 2nd place have equal 4-1 score but with worse total win/loss ratio. This total win/loss ratio thing will not matter if 2nd placed player beats 1st placed player and 2nd placed player will be 1st placed, even though 1st placed guy might of had better win/loss ratio. Therefore, I lost to Huk and July, so I'm in 3rd place. However if Ddoro beats Huk, I could be in 2nd place. | ||
