I think Geoff is a great guy who does awesome stuff for the community, but maybe his time has passed and he should maybe look into a coaching role?
Unfortunately I think you're right. He's a great asset to the community and this showmatch (that he obv. know he's going to lose) is a proof to that. On the other hand he's been playing pretty bad lately

Polt the only player who stims marines into siege tanks and comes out on top <3

I'll take that bet
now go qualify for pool play at MLG

Incontrol stated that before tournaments he practices up to 14h a day. He lives in one of the best pro houses along with the best team in USA with awesome practice partners (pumba, idra) and still cant even pull 1 game? No, because puma is really good and inc isnt. Simple stuff. I know. What i mean is he cant even pull one game of the group play with the conditions he has (pro house, practice partners and practice time) There still seems to be an idea around here that if you just practice hard enough, you'll be good. It clearly isn't true. I guess he just doesn't have the talent and no amount of training can overcome that. As far as I know he was relatively good at BW too, so he definitely has the fundamentals; I think his issues may be related to the lack of a good coach. Coaches can totally make or break players in my opinion.

I mean to me it does seem just a little fake, and along with past events (which are kinda grudge n he apologized, but still) just seem not right.

9 players seeded lower than he need to get more points. Don't think it can happen

Can we keep the discussion to the games please, and not to incontrol's personal character.

He just charges into a tank line and comes out on top. He does that all the time!
Alive clumped himself up in a very bad position Polt was able to build a concave while Alive's stuff was in one huge clump in a corner . As soon as Alive went there i knew he was dead.

I may be misreading sarcasm here, but inControl claims he practices 8+ hours a day at the EG progaming house. Furthermore, Tyler's lack of practice is self-cited as a result of a lack of motivation more-so than having too much to do.
Tyler just doesn't seem to have the passion for SC anymore. He should probably just quit and look for something else to do, either in eSports in a coaching or casting capacity, or elsewhere and get on with his life.
Incontrol, though, always says that he's really motivated and wants to win badly. Don't know what he should do except look into the way he trains for the game.

inControl and Tyler should both commit Sudoku live on stream.
Absolutely.

I think you got idra/incontrol and terran/protoss mixed up. Common mistake.

This isn't a showmatch, it's pool play o_O

I wonder if his win rate will ever dip below 30%. Getting there slowly but surely.

When is Inc getting dropped out of groups for MLG? He just can't stand up to other pros and it leads to super boring games for spectators. Name a toss this tournament that can stick with puma when he's playing well. I'm not talking about just the Incontrol v. Puma game. Incontrol has won only 1 game this entire MLG. Hey, did you take a look at his group?... Man, did you look at his results in thsi WHOLE mlg season? Yea, if you'd put me in his previous groups, I could say "man, look what groups i was in!!", but that's not an excuse at all.

Lol, seriously. Could you name a pro in pool play who practices less.. Tyler even admits he doesn't practice much.
