Baneling mines are absolutely NOT necessary for the game to be 'balanced' the way spider mines were (one could argue Z is slightly weaker than T in the match up, but not massively so); and a single lucky baneling hit can literally turn ANY game from a clear loss to an instant win. There isn't, and never was, a single unit or ability in Starcraft - either BW or WoL - that is anywhere close to the amount of instawin like a burrowed baneling is. I'm not saying there isn't a way to counter bling mines, I'm not saying it wasn't Boxer's fault he lost that game - but as a spectator, I think it's fucking ridiculous that a guy can be stomping his opponent for 20 minutes, then lose to literally 50 min/gas and 2 clicks. It's a dumb mechanic, period. | ||

They might be specific builds. They might be nerves. But I don't think you get #1 on the EU and NA ladders at the same time without solid non-cheese play. I wouldn't worry about him. | ||
