They have both guaranteed themselves a 1-4 seed from the open bracket (meaning, they are seeded 17-20). The players they will face (seeds 13-16) are picked randomly from the 4th place finishers of pool play. Since they are placed randomly, there is no advantage to getting the 17th seed over the 20th seed. They're wasting time playing these games out. Unless of course there is some sort of prize I don't know about. | ||
