However, Select, Sleep, Thorzain and Hero have been waiting to play or playing in high latency for something like 9 hours. It was unacceptable for us to keep them here waiting for them to play, and then forcing them to play after that long of a delay would be criminal. Did you ask them if they are okay with playing? Because I could imagine they would prefer playing under these circumstances rather than having a dice deciding about their seeding. Not meaning to offend or shit on what you did, just trying to get more information about it ![]()

There is no "high production values" involved when they don't even have a steady stream, let alone a over complicated website which not everyone understands. The streams have been great, even the 3G ones. Maybe your internet just sucks.

I hope you consulted the players in this decision

If the pool results are important for seeding in the championships bracket I feel that is the worst thing you could have done. Either have them play their games again when they felt that high-latency took away their chances to play to their best - but not have the results randomized.... as this is just not right. Are the players actually okay with that? I feel the chance of winning 1500$ due to an online play is nothing compared to the potential of getting further in the championships bracket for having a good pool result in the 'offline' event? :o Edit: I realize that you already have time problems, but ... I still feel that this is the wrong choice. to be honest, the person who has the greatest chance of winning the championship play is probably going to be the person who gets the most sleep and rest tonight its probably smarter for someone to forfeit their pool play games and get as much sleep and rest before the main championship stage with a few hours of intense practice each day, than to actually play their pool games

If you are going to play Group D, why not have Group C play in Bally's?!?!?!?! Group D waited just as long to play. Let the players decide. Ask them what they want to do.

My guess would be they would rather play and get better seeding than go random, especially for thozain who won his game.
