gtfo my internet troll. IT took MLG 4+ years of live events to get their shit somewhat together. Do you not remember huge delays at the last two mlgs as well, they still have issues, atleast we dont have to watch shots of the crowds for 3 hours straight. This is IPL's first event, and personally I think the production value is top notch, the internet however is horrible.

This is their first big lan event. Compare that to the tons of experience MLG had even before they picked up Sc2, so to compare them with MLG isn't quite fair yet.

It's a replay of an open bracket match.
They aren't able to provide a stable enough internet connection in the main theatre yet to play games, but they are using the set up to broadcast extra content from the open bracket.
It may be that if the issues persist that they play the group matches out elsewhere and then replay cast in the main auditorium for those too.

I love GSL and still do but the production value at IPL 3 is so much better. Unfortunately they're being plagued by technical problems. How is it better? GSL is practically monthly. IPL had a long time to prepare this. Yeah I don't think foreigner events are going to live up to GSL production value for a long time to come. ...? Technical issues (that is no fault on their part) doesn't equal production value. IPL's production value is far beyond GSL's in my opinion..
No no no I'm not talking about the technical difficulties at all that'd be silly. I just think it says something that day in and day out they get those guys in the booths with all the funky little action figures and (wcg in particular) zoom-ins on the players from time to time. Maybe I'm biased cause I love gsl soooo much though

You obviously haven't been following MLG since they started, when a certain event they ran ended up being a complete nightmare because the convention center they used had terrible internet connectivity. The satellite internet trucks they use now are a direct result of that event and what happened.

You've got a point there. How the hell does GomTV do that btw? I cant remember that a single cast was delayed due to internet problems. Probably Korean infrastructure helps quite a lot in that regard.
