you can't really come back from such a huge macro economic disadvantage that mc was in vs ret. it's just that mc out classes a player like ret | ||

MC won the unit composition battle by a long margin. You can't go zergling roach vs. high-tech Protoss, and Ret never hit the broodlord numbers to be able to kill the anti-air support. He needed to not lose his infestors early on. Infestor broodlord, with some ground support, is really how you beat that composition. | ||
