If you define an "A" player as in top 3 in their region, then yes, ClouD is prolly not A teamer but a high lvl B teamer. However, imo an A teamer is around top 10 or so in their region, the guys you expect to do well (not neccesarily win it), while guys like Thorzain, Nerchio are A+/S team. But generally I think you shouldnt label players like that, as almost everyone at the top level can beat each other if the conditions are there. You're saying top 10 of their respective race... that's a 30 player team?

He recently beat Kas. He beat ThorZaIN here... all of the players you named are very good and it would be a discredit to them if you just call out a player better as you really cannot proof it easily. For me ClouD is one of the best TvTers and has proofed it a lot of times...

Yes he had tanks and a 'better' composition but only if he moves slowly and leapfrogs. We all know Marines do insane DPS and with superior upgrades ClouD had 3-2 vs 2-1 he would have walked right through marine/tank... Its really not that amazing and hard if you have better upgrades + a decent split with medivacs. Yet ClouD decided to do a massive drop because ThorZaIN KNEW he probably can get caught offguard if he starts moving so he was playing defensive in the middle. If TZ had a sensor tower or turrets, things would look completely different but he did not. Thats what I talked about earlier, you can really really easily just lose a game of Starcraft 2. That game did not really show that TZ is worse, nor did it show the opposite. GGs.. I'd wish to see TZ play Stephano but ClouD won and people should get over it. Thorzain was being totally inactive with his tank line for like 5 minutes or so. If he leapfrogged them MKP style, he could have zoned the area between clouds natural and his 3rd and he could harass clouds 3rd pretty easily.

I mean, how big are your teams O_o So when you look at Europe, you have Mana, nerchio, stephano, thorzain, naniwa, jinro, sjow, sase, hasuobs, socke, dimaga, morrow, Kas, White Ra, Strelok etc etc, that's far more than 10, and there's many more, I don't think you can say there's only ten A team players in Europe. I'd rather rank by tiers, all of them are top European players, and I'd put Grubby and Cloud as a top tier European player as well. 2nd Tier would probably include LiveZerg, though.

As said, inferior upgrades and not a high count of marine/tank leapfrogging is a huge risk. Probably the reason why he either did not push or wanted to reinforce before he pushed.

Top 10 in EUROPE, not team lol, think you misunderstood me Edit: but generally you shouldt label players like that, as i feel the scene in sc2 is to volatile to accurately be able to rank players like that.
