Looks like the brackets are shaping up as expected. Glad to see Grubby getting through, Korean training never fails.

Spinecrawler rush!

will Bischu play vs MC?

Obviously not, because they were in the same group.

I believe he means will they play their group stage match vs each other soon to determine rank 1 and 2 in the group.

http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Electronic_Sports_World_Cup_2011/Main_Tournament

MC finished 8-0, Bischu with 8-1? Surely that means MC finishes top?

But they haven't played each other.

I can't see why they wouldn't play each other to decide the group winner, I guess if both agree that they are happy not to play, but I don't really see why Bischu wouldn't, he has nothing to lose.

Don't they have to play each other given that 1st place plays a 2nd place in the bracket and vice-versa. Also opposite sides of the bracket obviously.

Yes, I see no reason they wouldn't be made to play.

Was just mentioning that there could be a possibility of a mutual agreement not to play since they are both through if Bischu felt he'd never win and would rather grab a break before the bracket starts or something xD

As if, Bischu should be forced to play just to entertain us! :D

Funny you said that because in Grubby's same group there is carn who has more korean training than any other foreigners except Jinro and Idra. Pity though would like to see him advance further =(

Don't really see the point of this rush too. Doesn't work against a wall that is very further up.

You guys are aware you whine because you are going to see more matches ?

we are "whining" because this tournament is, so far, poorly organized if you compare it with what you got lately, such as MLG or IPL

Poorly organized ? From what I hear in players's interviews it's well organized, the only issue is the cold.

In viewer's pov it's sad the main stage is in french and english streams are online. But we can watch most of games, have good casters.

I find funny you take MLG for exemple about a rule issue. Because with extended series and seeds there are a lot of troubles as well.

Overall, I think it's a good event, even if some points need to be improve for next years.

It looks like watching an online tournament, especially with the casters being in seoul and being almost as clueless as us about what's going on (not their fault of course). There is no broadcast schedule so it's kind of hard to make a plan for your afternoon : what are you going to watch and when ? Those are crucial elements for a world-cup.

I remember when Nestea did this in GSL and it was mind blowing.

He hid them and he took out the Nexus expand on Daybreak, which is much better for it. (And it landed 30s earlier)

Well, apparently all of the stats are in, but no one has them posted.

Axslav & Haypro both advanced, that's good to know!

MKP vs Bischu. MC vs Haypro.

Seems like MC beat Bischu, finishing first.

@Asha, congrats for >10000! Were you watching GSL finals? Didn't see you in thread.
