I had youtube at 100%, people sitting behind me can confirm this, and yet I could still hear every single little detail from the casters, through my youtube/game sounds, the winner is sitting 1row from the casters, while i am the farthest away possible, I need not say more.

Only comments I'm going to make, and also why I just left so abruptly:

Each and every game he hard counters what I'm doing, and the only times I win is when something he can't control happens (magic box mutalisk vs archons, cannons being literally 2seconds too late and thus the pylon going down)

I use the same build order 3 games in a row, and yet on the last series for absolutely no reason at all, he quad scouts, I also kill the drone from the high ground without revealing my roaches, but am met by 4 fully green cannons and a complete wall-off.

To make matters worse, he begins to break off his gates, but then stops as I'm transitioning into a 3hatch all-in ling/roach because a P knowly timing attacks after this advantage.

He then doesn't timing attack, but rather sits back, gets 3 base, and masses immortals (not colossus on 3base shattered??) and doesn't push out at all until my gold just finishes.

Not to mention my hand was basically all but unresposive as I forgot my medication for it in RI this past weekend, but this was just ridiculous.

To make matters worse, after the games I tell him I know he can hear the sounds and he just walks away, basically knowing he didn't say anything to the casters.

Absolute joke and something like that should never be allowed, funniest thing is anyone who truly watches the games and has an understanding of this matchup knows protoss [can never] play the way he did, it is completely illogical and makes zero sense. It doesn't even matter how bad I was playing, it's really ridiculous a league who had numerous complaints all day about the casters/crowd being too loud, didn't just nix the casting and cast the replays after the games were over.

Even more unethical that the kid just walks away knowing he basically abused 110% despite me complaining numerous times I could hear the casters.

lastshadow hes fifteen? Whats he suppose to do to your comments? tell everyone to shut up and to stop the cast so the public can't see him ambarass you?... get a life, its a LAN where really there wasnt alot of money at stake. Just have fun and smile. You can't get everything you want in life.

I doubt boyo could hear the casters. He heard them during our game and totally just quit out of it.
Ofcourse they gave away my super roach rush strat and I didn't get a W for it but what can you do? Shit happens.

If he really could hear the casters then why didn't he go blink stalkers when you got up that spire? he had more than enough time to transition out of the charge lot archon build into blink stalkers but didnt.

Yeah, I was watching from back there and I heard Pat and Anachromy from the back end of the store. Not sure how good Boyo's headset was, but he could have heard the casters. And to comment on this:

Boyo maybe cared less about the matches earlier on in the tournament, but when it's the finals, the pressure's on, and the games are worth $140 (I think that was the difference between 1st and 2nd, I might be wrong?), he might care a little more.
I'm not saying he did anything, but it's always possible he overheard.

. Just to clear up some of the confusion after the HP game i told the casters directly about the sound situation, and someone provided me with earbuds, not ur crappy ipod earbuds but nice ones, to wear unerneath my headset. Hope to see all of you soon at Providence, cheers!

First off, I would like to say it was a great job by all people involved in this tournament to get it running as "smoothly" as possible and a big thanks to every single one of our sponsors.

Now, as far as the accusations go, I don't take lightly to anyone cheating and the concerns were raised in earlier matches, hence the whole earbud situation between hpTheGreat and Boyo's earlier matches. With that being said, I will look into the situation as well as tapping some higher level resources to look for any suspicious behavior on anyone's part. I would appreciate any further slander and chatter about the players/topic stop so that I can deal with this in private.

Instead, let's show some appreciation for the incredible gameplay throughout the 2 day event, and look forward to season 3, starting next year!
