I dont care if you are a fan of either player or dislike either player. But deligitimazing an awesome set like that with stupid comments annoy me.
Please download the replay of the second match between Puma and Idra (Taldarim), and then come tell me you think he lost on purpose. That game was damn amazing from both players.

well that was pretty unexpected and awesome at the same time
gz to Idra

Ok, I'm gunna get rocked for asking a stupid question. Please find it in your heart to forgive me and my retardation. Are VODs available? Or will they be? Total noob on IEM/ESL or whatever.

Congrats to Greg. Well played and well deserved.

It may take a day or two for the VODs to appear, but when they do, they should show up here:

Enjoy =)

Kind of deja vu - he also lost his first 3 games in the King of the Beta and was dead last in his group, but barely advanced... and won the whole event.
Moreover, it was the same finals scenario - he had lost to Tester 0-2 in the group stage (who won the group 3-0 in matches), met him again in the final and this time won.

That's a way better link. Thanks! =)

Yes! IDRA! congratulations!

So this victory means Slasher is cutting his hair off, right?

That Tal'darim game was absolutely crazy from both players, IdrA's 35 SCV kill Infestor was amazing at the top right of the map. So many drops, so much harassment from PuMa but he played the most patient ZvT I've ever seen and chocked him out.

Will post-match interviews and award ceremony be on the vods?
Also I am pretty sure IdrA used EVERY SINGLE zerg unit yesterday extensively, even the ultralisks worked pretty well
|
My favourite part of the entire tournament was when RotterdaM corrected Mr. Bitter on one of Elfi's builds and Mr. Bitter completely stops commentating and was like "you just corrected me." RotterdaM's reply of "well you do it to me all the time" and the awkward 2-3 seconds of silence was priceless.

For people who watched the idra games, was it a better showing of Idra improving or of Puma degressing?

There will also be a restream at 1 PM Eastern.

Games 1 and 2 has insane levels of multitasking from both players, and resulting in (game 2) over 120 workers being killed for BOTH players, a constant trade of leads. At one point, they were both under 80 supply because they kept trading and had few workers.
Game 3, PuMa made a big mistake, and got slightly punished. Then a big battle happened that changed the game, because two or three banelings were able to wipe out enough marines so that idra kept a lot of mutas and wiped pumas whole army out when he would have otherwise lost all his muta

Yes! So glad IdrA finally won another tournament. You go Greg!
