Woah, was unexpected to see Curious dominate Gumiho like that, but I'm glad that Oz was able to get into the finals. I like Sage and Gumiho, but Curious vs. Oz finals will probably produce the best games. Hope Oz can make it into Code S!!!(as well as Sage and a bunch of other people in Code A )

Looks like Startale forcing Curious to play teamleague games and get over his nerves has paid off like crazy.

Wasn't OZ in FXO for a time? Or am I crazy? And who does he play for now?
Time held me green and dying though I sang in my chains like the sea.

I actually want to point out that Sage actually took out A LOT of good protoss players to get through the Code A qualifiers; wanted to point it out because I just feel like we're taking credit away from Oz wayyyy too much.

Afaik he was in fOu, switched to FXO and he plays with his "old" team again since FXO bought fOu(or merged with them, sponsors them or whatever)

He was in fOu, then in FXO, and still in FXO after fOu was acquired by and merged with FXO. So he effectively hasn't changed teams at all in SC2.

Sage's PvP is very suspect. Gratz to Oz, he seems like a very confident player. If his PvZ is as good as I've heard, I expect to see a great series between him and Curious.

What was so bad about the Oz vs Sage games? It's quite rare to see all of them voted "No" to watch =/

What a disappointing series from Sage, maybe he is a little bit overrated. But obviously Oz played really well and that probe micro in game 4 was amazing I always fail when I try to micro probes
I hope he wins Code A and go to Code S.

I don't understand how the Curious who got destroyed by MKP in NASL qualifs (I think it was there) can 3-0 GuMiHo, the gumiho who beat NesTea and MonsteR o_o

G1 = Oz goes for a super greedy build (1gate tc?) and just dies outright to a 4gate

G2 = Oz goes DT + expand vs a robo build, he has his DT's shut down, but Sage somehow conspires to fail a 1 base colossus push thanks to some bizarre decision making by himself and decent delaying by Oz.

G3 = Sage loses probes early unnecessarily, has late warpgates so has to fend off some 3gate pressure. Miss micros his 3gate counter push to lose almost everything, and then there's a drawn out wait for the inevitable since Oz has a 10 worker lead, then expos, gets up an unbeatable unit comp (and + 40 supply) vs Sage's blink stalkers but can't really push till he gets blink of his own up

G4 = Sage goes 2x proxy gate. Sage supply blocks himself at 18 for an age. Oz scouts it + reacts well, some decent micro and since Sage can't actually produce zealots he quickly has more units and it's over.

Oz played well, but Sage handed most of the series up on a platter. It was mostly an exhibition of what people dislike about PvP, rather than a series that people had hoped would showcase some of the newer options that are supposed to be seeing some use.

Good Recap. Long story short... nothing really worth noting for the new era of PvP.

Which is a big problem since he will most certainly have at least 1 maybe 2 or 3 PvPs in his up/down group.
