Nothing JYP can do about that, Banshees are one of those things that gaurentee 3-4 worker kills if used competently.

Main issue for Protoss vs Terran 1-1-1 is the lack of AOE without sacrificing Gateway units in the mid-game. Sentry and FF are not so effective in the mid-game when dealing with reactored marines.

Why are people talking about balance when JYP built 3 (4?) immortals and 2 phoenix to deal with 1 banshee and two tanks? He had nothing to deal with marines, that was his fault. Puma put out an amazing amount of pressure and it's pretty understandable that JYP couldn't keep his composure. That doesn't mean it's imbalanced.
Edit: Seriously, he could have had 2 immortals and 1-2 colossus instead of the phoenix (and he would have won).

it's a game, you play to win. If 1-1-1 gave him the biggest win% and this is really his last hurdle to winning the tourney he'd be fucking stupid to not do it.

collosus is the wrong response. T can switch to vikings anytime and P doesnt have enough gas to afford enough stalkers to protect collossi off 1 base. Best chance for jyp was to fight right after he killed the 2 tanks, maybe pull a few probes if he had to, at least save his natural. if he killed those 10 marines, he woulda still had his nat and puma woulda never had that critical mass of marines

That was at IEM finals where he did 1-1-1 every game. In NASL he played standard and it was an epic 7 games series

Everyone talking about how They were waiting for the Koreans to see the high level of Play... I enjoyed the Foreigner games much more than 1-1-1 domination  . I really hope JYP crushes it atleast once.

I can understand the hate on 111 most of the time but in this game it just seemed like JYP had no idea what to do after defending the first push. And now don't tell me that's because P are not used to holding the first attack
