JYP played worse than lucifron level at this event, so it's not unfair to say he played really bad because that's the truth. Anyone who has seen JYP play in GSL knows that it looked like an imposter played for JYP yesterday. People have bad days. It happens.

Dimaga played well, but it was more JYP losing those games, than Dimaga winning them. Just like when artosis and everyone said the same thing when tails beat nestea. He said it was more nestea losing that game and tails getting a bit lucky.

Damn pretty impressive by Dimaga. How is Puma's TvZ? I could see either one of them winning the whole thing right now. Revival might be able to challenge as well. Sad to see Xigua not do as well as I hoped. His games vs JYP were the only ones I was able to catch and he didn't really seem all that impressive

Really wish Dima would be given a little bit more credit.

Too many people saying "oh well JYP played bad, and that's why Dima owned him".

Fact of the matter is Dimaga is the following:

1.) One of the best foreign Zergs in the world
2.) One of the best tournament players in all of SC2
3.) Possibly the best prepared player at this tournament

Dima told me that he has downloaded every JYP replay available on the internet, studied all of his VODs and made note of all his playstyles and habits.

He said he was positive that JYP was doing a gateway push when he saw the fast +1 after forge FE because it's something JYP's done a zillion times before.

And JYP didn't lose because he played badly in game 2. He lost because he played a bad build that Dima scouted and roflstomped.

The man prepared well for the tournament, and posted some really nice results in his group.

Let's also not dismiss his 2-0s over Rain and Xigua.

And he's continuing to practice and prepare as the week drags on.

A lot of players went out tonight.

Dima went to his room to download and study more replays.

Give the guy his dues. He's a beast and a legend, and he deserves infinitely more credit than he's been given in this thread.

Thanks MrBitter, Dimaga is my 2nd beloved Zerg (after cute Sen), and he really deserves more credit for his impressive showing. btw MrBitter I am your fans now, your casting keep moving forward, well prepared and sync will with Rotterdam! please keep it up and FOR THE SWARM!

Dima really does deserve this, he has been one of my favorite zergs and at the present I have said he is one of the top zergs in the world and definately in the top 3 if not number 1 in europe at any given time.
Got to give the man his props, even though JYP didn't bring his best, Dima mapped out his opponent well enough that JYP absolutely NEEDED to bring his best in order to play well against dimaga.

Also I feel for Xigua... JYP is sick pvz, and dimaga is sick zvz... If he had been in any of the other groups he would have done much better, I think...

Such awesome commentators for this event. Watching the IdrA vs AcerElfi game right now and I'm just plain impressed with the quality of the commentary.
