The worst thing about TotalBiscuit is that he wastes his time in LR threads talking to trolls.

He raised his arm as the crowd applauded him, who he can see since they are right in front of him. As has been explained, the players cannot hear the casters and if they could, it would have been extremely obvious, since the tournament has had cheeses, plenty of hidden tech, hidden expos and such.

Don´t think so, think he used to cast Quake etc but he wants in on the cash of SC2 so he trying his best.

*facepalm* So much wrong in one sentence.

But how did he know they were cheering for him? Might have been cheering for Huk as far as he would know. Not trying to diminish the tournament, it's been great, just seemed strange to me

People standing right in front of him. He see them look over to Huk, cheer and applaud. Then looking directly to Dimaga and cheering at him. I were one of them standing there just 1-2 meter away from him

Thanks for clearing that up -- it's hard to tell what's going on at the venue just from watching the stream, good to know that they can't really hear anything after all :-)

I don't want to start any war but i think its very unfair to say that TB is only for the money. He often organizes SC2 tournaments and pays from his own pocket the cash prizes. He also casts other games, being WoW the game that gives him the bigger audience. Sure, the man has go to eat but he is not *ONLY* for the money.

I stopped doing WoW almost 6 months ago. My income comes from my gaming first impressions, Terraria playthroughs and daily gaming podcasts with occassional stuff like League of Legends gameplay, Battlefield 3 commentaries, beta coverage, interviews and show-coverage of events like Gamescom and Eurogamer. At the moment my main Youtube channel gathers about 16 million views a month. All stream income goes to the prizepool for showmatches and SHOUTcraft invitationals, I make limited income from my second channel which is the Starcraft channel, half of that goes to Apollo for any game I cast with him. If I were to estimate my income from SC2 relative to my income from the main channel, I'd say the ratio is 25:1 and that's without considering the amount I could be making by staying at home pumping out 3 100-400k view videos a day.

The term beastly springs to mind.

The worst thing about TotalBiscuit is that he wastes his time in LR threads talking to trolls.

That's comforting to hear. There are far worse character flaws to have.
