The planteary was almost finished so it would have been hard for IdrA to win, but he's tilted now for sure..

Yes that was a gg. His third wasn't even saturated and select just took & fortified the gold base.

720p vs 1080p stream is a joke btw -_-

I bet it been said before but the sound lag from them both is shocking, 1080p u get random lag spikes every like 10 seconds. And then in 720p the sound is produced via 1080p and is like 2seconds delay -_-

Thanks for ruining the last game for me 1080. Going watch on 480 to see if theres no lag/sound lag

Unless you've got Brood Lords to break the gold. It's gg.

Terran with gold is pretty much impossible to beat on that map.

Well played by SeleCT! Shame IdrA didn't continue playing, because if he can slip up like that SeleCT can too!

He never plays on Xelnaga anymore in ZvT because most sane tournaments have a veto system and that's the first on the list for him

It was. IdrA was on a super-late 3 bases, while SeleCT was on 3 bases AND a gold. There was no way IdrA could come back from that defecit.

Why can't you just enjoy the game? I think its a nice variety to not have the same casters over and over.

Why he should have 2-base Roach/Ling timing attack. Idra would never be able to unseat Select from that Gold.

And they were on Even food. Idra could have fought it out, but he'd have needed to pull a rabbit out of his hat.

No, a late 3 base zerg cannot beat a 3 base PF gold terran

As long as you're at the same or higher supply there should never be enough reason to leave the game right away. I know it was a really difficult spot though but it's still possible to make something happen.

Lol. If he was gonna gg at that point anyhow, he might aswell have gg-ed before the game itself. I get that the map is hard, but what the hell is keeping him from even trying.

Trying? He lost his third base. His 3rd and Select's 3rd were at similar timings, with the difference being that Idra's is hard to hold, and just a blue base. A pf at the gold means that the game is over.

Well, he still could have tried to come back with things like baneling mines. He was behind, but he still had chances.

Sure they can. It's hard, but god damn it at least try

Not if the terran is as competent as Select. The most you can do is hope for a good baneling hit at the right time, but more than likely against someone like Select you'd just spend 5-10 more minutes getting frustrated. He was actually right to tap out there.

Too bad IdrA didn't try a roach all-in when he scouted the factory. I think he'll have a higher percentage winning with that than on a macro game that he mentally lost when they chose the map.

i don't think its the 'old' idra back. I think he just wants to get away from that map and move on to the others. I was expecting him to do a roach ling attack
