Ok. I get it, you play zerg and think protoss is OP. I wasn't arguing imbalance or whining. I was asking a question. I realize Nightend isn't the best toss around so I was wondering what a better toss would do to scout. Theres a timing right around when you are throwing down your nexus that you don't have hallucinate or an obs, and speedlings are out. Is it just accepted that you need to wait until later to scout, or can you be sneaky with probes?? It's an honest question here and I really don't need your dismissive zerg sass.

I'm not a pro, but I'm guessing a Protoss player could pressure as he expands, which would obviously scout the zerg as well as force them to make units.

No one said anything about Protoss being OP. There are various timings in the game where all 3 races can dominate map control and scouting info. When ling speed finishes vs toss, when hellions are out vs zerg, when muta are out vs terran or in zerg mirror. Just part of the game. IMO a better toss like Huk would have poked to know what the zerg was doing and at least broken even unit wise.

Protoss will never have the map awareness that zerg has, it's just a weakness in the matchup. As far as early scouting with a probe goes, it's possible even on the professional level but in no way completely reliable.

Yeah Fenix was saying earlier that he was getting 2-3 second delays on every action he made from KR.


2-3 seconds is such an exaggerated load of shit. The only way he could have a ping that high to NA (and I completely retract my criticism if this is true) from Korea is if there was some serious congestion / line issue / fault with his modem that is completely independent of location.

According to TL, incontrol has the lowest ELO out of all EG players, even behind machine, strifeco, and lzgamer. But I think that's mostly due to incontrol still being in tournaments where he gets smashed all the time, while those other lower-tier EG guys are playing in single or double elim tourneys. If your skill is below the median in a tournament, group play like MLG or NASL just magnifies your number of losses (e.g. in a normal elimination tourney, the amount of losses you get is much more limited).

Still, I feel like incontrol should've followed painuser's footsteps and started casting full-time. I like his casting much more than his play.

Select is in US I thought? I didn't catch much lag while watching the game. Select's control was fine. Watch the game if you can. Inka played an almost perfect game...

I agree here, and a EG captain function like in korean houses would suit him, still play some hours a day but more focus on it's other members. (maybe his gf already does that i supose)

Because let's be honest the team house training does not improve his play, even if it's not that long some improvement should have been visible, and they clearly are not.
You either go another way with this game, like casting and being suport, or you break everything down lay low and build it up slowly.

I am not hating on the guy but every time i see him at an MLG i think, this spot could have gone to some one more deserving.

Incontrol must be exaggerating quite a lot on how much he plays per day, i've heard him saying 8-12 hours but that is just impossible. I mean he seems like a pretty smart guy so there is no way he is that bad playing so much.

i think he says he spends that much time on sc. So that involves shows and reps and vods and all. I might be wrong

Remember he has to say he plays that much too. Whether he is or not. He can hardly say, yeah well i played 4hours today when his managers will be watching and wondering why they're paying him all this money and spent all the money on that teamhouse when he's not putting the effort in.

Not saying that's the case, i can't say i stalk his bnet profile to know when he's online and what he's doing. But i'm guessing he can't say anything but.

But if he his playing that much everyday, surely the time he's putting in has got to show something soon.

Yeah iNcontroL should definitely go back to castng again or do something more productive than playing himself since he isnt doing well in the game. I wonder if he practises at all... Its pretty easy to improve on the game by just playing and especially when you have that great practise partners.
