HOWEVER, is the Bel-shir beach map going to be the newest version (from oct. gsl) or the older version (from may-aug gsl)?

Older version is very Zerg favored and why the changes were made (new version has only one ramp leading into the natural) If there are multiple versions of the map up on bnet atm we'll find an official map list so you know which ones to host (Mapname + publisher vs just mapname)

If you're in Edmonton or the surrounding area come and check it out here at OverKlocked (same venue all of the SC2 tournaments - including this one - are at) EDIT: Fakesteve is here. Now is your chance to witness the glory of a TL moderator in all of his fleshy goodness

Can I come even though I suck (mid-plat)? Do I have to bring my own computer? If I do have to bring my own computer, do I have to DL all maps in advance?

It is recommended that you bring your own Keyboard, Mouse, Mousepad and Headset if you're really anal about what you're using. Overklocked has Steelseries 7G Keyboard, Ikari Mouse, 9HD Mousepad and Siberia headphones at every station so if you're okay with using those (All I ever bring to events like this is usually a mouse and mousepad). If you bring your own computer or monitor, you won't be able to use it so don't even bother. You can definitely come even though you "suck" - There are many players entering the tournament from Bronze to Diamond if only for the invaluable tournament experience as well as the ability to learn from players who are better then them in person.
