That DT play was pretty gimmicky though, what happened if there was a supply depo there?
I think Hero just wanted to try something different, but Protoss aren't Terran, if they want to deviate from a macro game they take huge risks in doing so.
Also, those positions on ST are pretty brutal for Protoss in TvP, drop harass works so darn well. I'm not sure why Hero did the build he did, but after the first few DT's failed he had already lost. If he somehow held then Protoss would be pretty broken
Too many build order losses for Protoss in TvP for anything that involves a delayed Expo (heck, even standard expo builds have BO losses -.-).
Wish Hero just played a standard macro game  He held on so darn well in the first game, imagine that if he didn't lose so many probes, or transitioned from a Robo or 3gates instead of a Stargate, ah well.

can anyone give me a short summary of what happened in the Idra vs HerO games? I unfortunately missed them I asked before, but it got lost in all the posts and I am unable to locate the pages where this game was being discussed (quite hard with 300+ pages :D)

i really like this tournament. no big breaks, the schedule is not fucked up and the games are pretty ok too, although i would've liked to see hero win more.
