you could easily argue that MKP is the best in his group ryung has never done anything major, bomber is overhyped and has never gone as far as MKP, and puzzle is racially susceptible to a bit o 111'ing

Regarding the chances of the endangered Protoss brethren:
Puzzle - going to get all-ind out to the Up/Downs. HuK - decent chance to advance, not sure if it'd be better for him to play Zenio or dodge him. HongUn - down to the Up/Downs. Genius - should be able to advance in 2nd place, with Jjakji in first. Both Leenock and Happy have awful vP. SangHo - down to the Up/Downs.
This is not going to be fun. Oh well, my expectations can't really be lower, so I'm only in for positive surprises.

Imagine if 15 Terrans make it to the rounds of 16, haha. We might just have the most time-consuming GSL ever!

Holy moley Group A all terran and 3 other 3/4ths terran groups, gonna be a looong GSL

it won't be 15, but i wouldn't be surprised if we had 11-12.

No. No you cannot. Look at recent results.
Bomber won an MLG and code A (against MVP mind you) and while not going far in code S has done well against top opponents.
Puzzle has also won a code A (2-0ing MMA and 3-0ing Happy) and remains in code S, which is impressive these days for protoss.
Ryung hasn't done much yet, but like the above two, you really just have to open your eyes and look at the play which is clearly superior to MKP.
Frankly, MKP did not even deserve to get out of the up/down this season.

Wow. It's not till you look at all the individual groups do you realize how much T you will be watching. T_T

It has nothing to do with who has achieved what, it's just a bad set of matchups for MarineKing. MarineKing is really weak at TvT compared to his other matchups and he said it himself that he didn't want to pick a terran player in these selections. He's been slaughtered by so many terrans lately i've lost count. Ryung and Bomber in my opinion have two of the top 3 TvT's in the world along with Mvp, especially Ryung, Bomber is more hit and miss. Yes, he has a good chance against Puzzle as his tvp is pretty good, usually very cheesy, but Puzzle can definitely take him out, too. Maybe if the patch comes out and it makes Mech less popular in tvt, it'd help him.

Group B and C are kind of hilarious groups, hope Nestea and Puzzle can pull something off.
|
Soooo many terrans, I doubt I'll watch much code S this time around . At least code A will be pretty solid this season.
|
Four out of the eight groups have 3+ terrans each. Oh man. At least Nestea and Puzzle only have to practice one match up for the first few weeks.

so many terrans players.... Now i know why the campaign has hybrids because the only way to beat terran is for the zerg and protoss to combine into one race.
It's funny to see how zergs and toss are finally uniting against terrans. It used to be both races complaining about the balance of zvp matchup, while terrans are quietly dominating lol.

Group C the toughest group? Really hoping NaDa will advance!
|
holy shit groups b and c....groups of death
hoping for mkp/bomber and nestea/nada
|
Holy lord, these groups are so stacked. I hope the zergs can pull through, it does seem like these are the best Zergs out there, so if they can't then we're all screwed.
I hope to goodness that Puzzle makes it out of his group. Would be so awesome. I feel like all three of the terrans have insane TvP though, so it seems vanishingly improbable. HERE'S TO HOPIN' YO.

So close. We almost had a possibility for a Terran only ro16, but group E spoils it.
|
5/8 are terran, lol. I always love terran but this is a bit much. I hope many of them will get filtered down to code A, which is actually quite well-rounded. So it could bring some variety up in code S for next season.

Dat group A....
So much Terran, makes me wish I played Terran more to learn about TvT. Dunno if I can say Nestea can make it out of group C, but then again he can focus all his practice on his ZvT. Group G looks the most interesting imo.
